Red Dead Redemption Getting "Free Fan Pack DLC"

Rockstar games has just announced via twitter that Red Dead Redmption is getting a "Free Fan Pack DLC".

Not quite sure why someone disagreed with you about stating a well known fact. Unfortunately the story submitters on N4G pay very little attention to basics like "what platform the game is on and thus what platform should be tagged".

Now that I think about it, Red dead had a good balance of (Single player - Multiplayer) DLC. They had 3 Multiplayer packs, and 1 singleplayer pack.(Undead Nightmare) I think this, because undead nightmare was a whole new single player experience.(which was good balance to all the multiplayer dlc) I love that Rockstar are making a Fan pack. It should be good. I also bought all the dlc. I can't wait for the next game.

if there are new trophies that come with this DLC i will have mixed feelings, i think.

just played it pretty hardcore since the 4x XP weekend and only a few days ago i got 100% of the trophies.

while i welcome it, i certainly hope that (if they do have new trophies) they aren't as annoying as some of the previous DLC's trophies. there are about 3 or 4 in the current list of DLC trophies that are absolutely *impossible* to accomplish unless you boost, which is something i try to avoid doing and RDR is the only game on my list where i've resorted to boosting.

Awesome, I've been looking for a reason to get back into RDR ever since I finished getting 100% trophies. I hope this new DLC has new maps and trophies. I love RDR especially multiplayer. I wasn't even expecting more DLC after Undead Nightmare much less free DLC so this is a pleasant surprise.

I am. I beat the single player campaign a long time ago. I mostly play free roam online to level up and see what trouble I can get into. For example. I'll start bothering some random online player and see if I can piss them off. Then we usually get into a shoot-out.

Sometimes it's a posse and they have headsets and I can hear what they say, it makes me laugh. This one time I was pissing off this guy because he was trying to increase his most wanted level, but I kept shooting him. He'd curse at me. Oh man he got so pissed. Eventually I stopped.

I met up with him and he said on his headset. "Okay, that's enough. Can we be friends now?" I moved my character in a way that told him yes and he said "good. Now help me do this"...BAM! I shot him in the back and he said, "YOU SON OF A BITCH! MUTHAF"... I turned off the PS3. Haha! I dunno. I guess it's mean, but I find it entertaining.

I look at it this way. There's a mode with friendly fire and there's a mode with no friendly fire, heck you can even play private. So no one bothers. If you play with friendly fire on you're accepting the consequences that you may run into assholes. So too bad. LOL!

well - first.....i NEVER go for the "lets be friends" crap. it's a hack move by players that can't get fair kills. i've heard (over the mic) too many people go down falling for that.
2nd - "friendly fire" means one of your team shot you by ACCIDENT - NOT intentionally shot by someone who lies to you. you're the kind of person that ruins the game and makes it hard for people to join up on posse invites.

To those bashing on Orion, there is a reason free roam was divided into "Normal Free Roam", "Hardcore Free Roam" and "Friendly Free Roam". I don't understand why people get pissed, as long as it's in hardcore free roam (even normal free roam), it's all right.
