Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage is a busy game, which is part of the reason it's enthralling. You're put on the spot for a lot of bizarre split-second decisions ("Throw the tomato in the blender, or take a chance and throw him at Marshmallow? Oh my God!"). When you come down to it, though, the App Store is hip-deep in twitch games.
While simple arcade games that offer little more than high scores are far too common on the App Store, that doesn’t mean that they’re not fun. Annoying Orange Kitchen Carnage may be a bit of a cash-in while the YouTube show is still hot, it’s at least a cash-in that gamers can have a lot of fun with.
One would expect a game based around Annoying Orange to be far more annoying, but diving in to this skill-shot title is pleasantly rewarding at least for a while.
These days, it seems like everyone has a video game, even the Annoying Orange. Bottle Rocket just released an App based on the impressively popular web series, and it's quite enjoyable, especially if you're one of the millions of folks who enjoy watching the creepy and downright irritating orange harass his fruity friends. Oh, and one more thing. Knife!
