1. You could do a million "lame" reports and N4G won't react to it (you can only see the reports if you actually go clicking for them, even though they aren't that hard to get to).
2. It's BIoodmask doing this. He's N4G's top contrib nearly every month. They never do anything to him (at least I never see him getting punished for anything), even though he trolls the PS3 gamers constantly, works to get people he doesn't like banned, etc. Yes, he posts pro-PS3 stories, too, but it seems like those are few and far between (and I'm not saying that we have to post ONLY pro-PS3 stories on here by any means).
3. These types of stories usually get up there in popularity for whatever reason (and these comments about it being lame are to blame for it, I know).

It all goes to one thing: ad clicks. The more these stories get popular, and the more their top contribs get protected, the more people will see/click the ads...which is more money for them.
