Do you not have anything better to do?

[email protected]: There isn't a best console right now. Xbox has more games because it came out a year too soon. There are plenty of games to play on the PS3 and Wii as well. Don't forget all the older systems games that you can play on both these systems. All three systems have great games out right now and more to come. So please... COME ON.

Wow I got agreed and disagreed in like 30 secs. Awesome! I hadn't even finished editing this thing yet.

oh now PS3 OWNERS WILL say i do not have to wait, i will play it in my super kick ass computer-which most of them do not have-

@blow:it is not 360 owners cannot offerd it but the fact that they have life
play the best console (360) with best games than go back to LIFE(i do not think you know what that is)

Sorry but I own a powerful PC, sorry to hear all those xbox fanboys cry and say they cant afford machinery like ps3 or pc.

Want to hear something funny, and this is from a friend who is a xbox fanboy. He developed some kindov cardinal rule of thumb, he will not buy a game beyond a week since its launch date because he wants to emphasize a point that multiplatform games come out before a ps3.... meaning if he can't afford and it is a superb game he will still not buy it. That is pretty much childish but hey he is missing alot of games.

What matters is if a company pumps out exclusive titles with a constant flow , multiplatform games are side dishes.

are the kinds of things that happen when you focus too much on HD media and not gaming.

The 360 is streamlined just for gaming so getting code up and running is a minimal time. Bc a 360 dev kit is very similar to PC architecture. Which all games are made on first

The PS3 architecture is drasticly different which will usually lead to it getting a sloppy "port" with subpar framerates...etc...Not to mention various delays which cost developers extra money.
As it is plain to see the 360 is usually still the lead on multiplatform games.

DrWan6125d ago

PS2 has even more difficult architecture, takes one cycle to learn. 360 won't always be the lead platform, it's a developer's choice. It really depends on what they want to achieve, porting games backward onto the 360 is easier if you make the PS3 the lead platform, i will see more developers doing that instead. All these delays are bc things were develope on the 360 first, bc they had the dev kit a year before they did for the PS3

americanGTA6125d ago

so pissed off, WHY DO THESE PS3 games get delayed!!!! u kno what i think? that this developer sux and they dont know what they're doing... so, im prob not gonna get the game.

InMyOpinion6125d ago

Yeah, that must be it. All developers are lazy and su(k...Wake up!

Marty83706125d ago

Ever thought devs want to add HOME features to PS3 games, so cos HOME SDK's have just been released to devs, games are running behind in development.

P4KY B6125d ago

Has to be one of the worst films i've ever seen.

Nicosia6125d ago

Omg remember Tiara Reid ''Its abkani!!'' like in every scene. The movie had nothing to do with the games.

mariusmal6125d ago

true. the movie was bad. but this franchise created the survival horror genre back in the days

Morbius4206124d ago

I just hope it isn't being delayed for PlayStation 3 because they want to throw in the movie on Blu-Ray!

That genuinely, genuinely sucks. The reboot has clear flaws, but it really felt like a solid first step for this team to receive *greater* investment.

Alone in the dark is a fun game so that's unfortunate

CrimsonWing6947d ago

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that the norm after a project is done?

Terry_B47d ago

That's standard. Teams are together for a Project, after its done some..and sometimes most devs are fired until the next Project is in the works and people are needed again. Only the core members stay in the time between the hot phase of the game development.

CrimsonWing6947d ago

What’s annoying is people don’t understand how contractors work, either. All of this is uninformed knee-jerk reactions without any understanding of how employment works in this industry. There are key developers and staff that stay with a studio/publisher, but often times it’s a hire per project and then seeking new employment for a project. That’s how it’s always been…

coolbeans47d ago

That's a fair point too. I would say that in light of its tepid critical/commercial response and ongoing mass layoffs across the industry I think it's understandable for fans to worry about the longer-term implications. We'll see how it plays out in the future.

Alone in the Dark (XS) Review | VGChartz

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "In one sense, it feels strange to even think Pieces Interactive had big shoes to fill with this series' legacy. Given what's come before, did it really? And yet, even when considering the last two flops over a two-decade span, there's still something about Alone in the Dark emblazoned on a title screen that carries a sense of revered history. In that respect, perhaps this reboot's best accomplishment is in honoring that spirit through its inventive world. It's also fair to emphasize knocks against its survival-horror design, some puzzle-solving, and so on; it certainly won't be considered a trendsetter like the 1992 classic. Still, the amount of goodwill wedded to its brighter qualities makes for something that dawdles the line between unfortunately-flawed and impressively-enticing."

Alone in the Dark review [SideQuesting]

The new Alone in the Dark remake doesn't do anything especially noteworthy, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's just... cromulent.
