The Most Impressive Move Demo

Theres something very rewarding about stacking blocks, which is why you probably see a lot of those types of games i.e Jenga, iphone stacking apps etc. It's a concept that works in a fantastic way with Move and compliments the capabilities of the technology excellently.

Actually this is the one PlayStation Move title on the Move demo disc that IS in 3D. My 3DTV arrives tomorrow morning and I'll test it out. Though I wont be able to show a video of it, because you can't show 3D effects without a 3DTV and active shutter glasses now can you?

That's because move actually has other good games, all of kinect games so far are mediocre titles

Its not that the game is amazing, its that its so smooth. Cant really say ive seen truly motion based on kinect that really matches it. Its about how well the tech is implemented, the game itself is far from amazing.

Yeah it isn't about the game, it is about the ability of the tech. This kind of precision and accuracy has not been done on the wii or Kinect.

I think Tumble and all these other demos need to be in our hand to truly see how fun it can be. Its like the Wii, when my sis got it and watched her play, it looked boring. After i got my hands on it i found myself enjoying it much more then i would have thought, it may have only kept my attention for an hour but it was a fun hour. With the Move, it looks great when people play and does thinks i thought would have taken us another 5+ years so to me this is day one(or two)

From the videos i've seen of Move there is some lag but very little. From the videos i've seen it looks to be about 1/3 the lag of motion plus and I hope that's enough to not irritate me because honestly the lag of the Wii does irritate me. The videos i've seen of kinect look promising in some aspects but some of the lag i've seen I would never deal with. Owning all 3 systems I hope microsoft can iron kinect out because it has what could be great written all over it, but as of now i'm not convinced. The Move looks to promise alot right out of the gates and I hope it does. Unfortunately I have written off the Wii but the kids and wife still play it so it wasn't a bad investment.

It's only a demo showing how you will play the game. Obviously the whole game will have more to it then this. Why are the Kinect defenders getting so worked up about it? If this is any indication how accurate the game will be it could be a great puzzle game. But of course we will have to see. It seems that you have different types of blocks with advantages and disadvantages. I heard him mention an "ice block" that will be probably harder to stack then the others and also harder to stack on top of. Can't wait to see how many variations there are
