Star Citizen is doing 'bedsheet deformation' physics now, because of course it is

It all comes down to something called "bedsheet deformation," which is exactly what it sounds like: Ensuring that blankets on beds are mussed up accurately, just like they would be in real life. This is important because the "sleep and bed relaxation" element of Squadron 42, the singleplayer portion of Star Citizen, was recently updated so NPCs are now able to find and enter their beds, and then sleep until they're scheduled to get up.

You need to win some sort of reward for that comment - we’ll played!

Hold your awards Magnus, he didn't make it up.

Silly Mammo738d ago

You're thinking of "bedsheet defecation".

Guess everyone spent so much money on their digital ships that they can't afford to pay a digital maid.

Jin_Sakai738d ago (Edited 738d ago )

That will be another $5,000,000 please…

Money Laundering, The Game.

SierraGuy738d ago

Maybe google...halo infinite development cost...then speak.

RpgSama738d ago

Halo infinite was financed by MS, this is financed by "people", big difference.

Eonjay738d ago

Well Halo Infinite is a game that actually released too. Don't forget that.

Multiple studies are showing work from home being just as productive as in office. Stop with saying people that want to work out of the comfort of their own homes are lazy.

Jin_Sakai738d ago

“Multiple studies are showing work from home being just as productive as in office.”

Common sense tells otherwise. There’s always going to be more distractions at home and it’s not like you can walk a few desk down and communicate with others. People could also take 25 breaks if they choose too.

dumahim737d ago

"There’s always going to be more distractions at home"

There's way more distractions at work than there is at home for me. I've always got people coming up asking something, want to chat, and noise all over. At home I can sit and focus on my work and not deal with most of that. Instead of someone coming to my desk asking something, they send a Teams message I can avoid long enough to finish what I'm working on.

Star Citizen showcases the creation of the two brand-new animals coming to alpha 3.23

Land on any planet in Star Citizen currently and you’ll be greeted by things like weather patterns, flora, and very possibly a derelict or two. What you won’t find are any animals, however. That’s going to change with alpha 3.23’s release, as CIG has finally put together two animals to populate certain planets. That’s not quite three, but it’s more than one!

People will have had entire careers by the time this game reaches Gold status.

SimpleSlave4d ago

Two brand-new animals? Fantastic. This game should be ready by the time the Vault Dwellers come out from their Vaults Two Hundred years after the Apocalypse.

Any minute now...
