Redditor posts photo of Switch Lite without a B Button

In a case of random things that happen during manufacturing, a reddit user got a Switch Lite that had two Y buttons instead of the one B button normal on Nintendo controllers.

Makes me think of the twin blaster Samus Amiibo. How does this happen. Lol

I'd hang onto this Switch and not play it it could possibly be worth cash down the road. I am surprised Nintendo hasn't stepped up and tried to reach out to the customer about this mistake they made.

Nah. Buttons are real easy to swap out, and it would be incredibly hard to validate whether or not it was opened since it's a fairly easy system to take apart. A silly mistake, but not a profitable one.

Knightofelemia1688d ago (Edited 1688d ago )

No necessarily people can tell when a system has been popped open especially on the newer ones minus the void warranty stickers. Screws missing, sticker residue does not line up, new thermal paste screws with screwed up heads, or my fave the system rattles because someone put something back the wrong way. And I said it could possibly be worth cash down the road.

I’d be keeping that! It’s practically a one of a kind Lite Switch at this point.

Except it's easy to open and modify...

CobraKai1687d ago

But i know it wasn’t modded and that’s all that matters to me. I don’t get something like that with intentions of reselling. I keep em as curious oddities.

Take-Two Is Quietly Killing Private Division

In recent weeks, reports have surfaced that Take-Two is shuttering Kerbal Space Program 2 developer Intercept Games and OlliOlli World developer Roll7. Now, IGN has learned that not only are these closures imminent, but they are a part of a larger move by Take-Two to either sell off or shut down the entirety of its indie label, Private Division.

Jesus. The AAA space is gonna implode on itself. We went from "indie is the future" to shutting down devs who make smaller budget games to make way for games that take 7 years to develop and blow through half a billion bucks with almost nothing to show for it.
