Fallout 76 Sells an Estimated 1.06 Million Units First Week at Retail

The online action RPG from publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios - Fallout 76 - sold 1,061,884  units in two days at retail, according to VGChartz estimates.

Right, because 1 million on the nose (basically) is what we think of when we hear someone boast "the game is being played by millions!". Todd was insinuating that 2+ million were playing the game, not 1.06. Or at least that's how he made it sound.

Todd Howard is a clown who needs a reality check and a haircut. Fallout 76 was his great idea, but what he should've done was used that money and manpower to build a new engine or significantly improve the existing tech. Misplaced priorities. These guys care more about getting in on the GaaS lottery than giving people proper, current gen technology in their billion dollar franchises.

To be honest the biggest gaming community does not visit these websites, read reviews or follow op on the latest gaming news. They see an ad and remember: "fallout 4 was cool, let's get the sequel"
I'm sure many are disappointed which leads into a big drop the following week.
But then you get the following scenario. "wow, fallout 76 is already 30 dollars, I didn't know it released that long ago, let's get it."
So then another group buys the game not knowing the truth.

That is what the Sea of Thieves supporters said. A terrible, empty game, but because you can jump around and grief people it is "fun with friends". I bought this game for 10 bucks and actually enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, there are issues like any Bethesda game, but if it is actually supported and fixed the game has a solid grounding that will only get better with time. ESO was the same way, just give it time, or if you find it for 10 bucks like I did, pick it up. It's totally worth 10 bucks.
