Game Rant sits down with Diablo Immortal developers to discuss the Tempest and the team's approach to designing an all-new class for the franchise.
«Tempest» with water and lighting, blue-green color scheme, wow, so original. I've got a new idea - «Volcano» with power of fire and earth, brown-red color scheme, ain't it great?! /s
Cinematic in the trailer is so cheapely made, for anything Blizzard-related, it's such a shame. Also, looks like they combined monk and blood knight(?) abilities, kinda makes it look like an afterthought.
How the mighty have fallen...
Game Rant spends some time trying out Diablo Immortal's extremely mobile Tempest class ahead of its release, and it's a fun one.
"THEY WERE NOT PREPARED!"
That comment hands down the best and most appropriate comment on the whole controversy. Still, Blizzard had a good run post Activision merger/acquisition thing but reading Blizzard's response on this just confirms that the Blizzard I've been following for over two decades now is as good as dead. They have in the past cancelled game developments because they didn't meet Blizzard's level of quality, they've gone from that to whoring their franchise to a Chinese developer famous for creating reskins, truly a sad day for us Blizzard fans.
If blizzard want to make a mobile game they can do and it's likely going to be successful
Blizzard responded by censorship and pure PR bull*...
This will go down in history as one of the worst game reveals in gaming industry...
When people talk about the PC master race, Blizzcon is their con. I can't imagine a worse venue to announce a mobile game, and hype it like it's Diablo 4 is the insulting part. It's fine for them to make a mobile Diablo, just as it's fine for them to sell Diablo shirts, but it's not an actual game to Blizzcon folk. If Blizzard had just announced Immortal with a press release the Diablo fanbase wouldn't be in an uproar because they wouldn't have even bothered to read the release. Mobile gaming isn't the next step of game, it's just an entirely different industry. Hence even though there are hundreds of millions more mobile players, there are few articles about mobile here on N4G and those that show up aren't read.
"the world is evolving" he said, for whom exactly? with all the technologies available people are becoming more contained and controlled is how I see it.
the relationship between a corporate and a normal human being is the same between a predator and its prey, wolves and sheep, master and slave. don't let anyone fool you with the opposite and if you disagree then clearly, you're a part of the former.
