If they know then I don't know why they haven't done something...is it fun to kind of fall from grace within the gaming community. Does it feel good to know people are making jokes and talking about you? Instead of latching off Steam how about you actually make games again and by that I don't mean TF2 updates and DoTA 2 stuff.

I was thinking about that, for me there's two paths they could take

1) Hire a new voice actor

Continue the story where the DLC never happened and the gang goes North instead of South, their original plan

2) Continue on from the DLC where Bill is dead and replace him

They are headed to Florida, a lot of older people go their to retire, could easily find another older character, maybe a older woman this time...who dosen't want to see a sweet little old Grandma be a badass.

It's beyond jokes, fans now have every right to be hateful of Valve. They refused to make an actual game for seven years now, yet they didn't outright state that they wouldn't. "Oh, we're making games again now..." Well what does that mean? Dota 3? VR rubbish? Games that people actually want? Be more transparent.

I gave up on them a little while after orange box on 360, all that promised dlc for half life that never happened.

IMO they stopped making games because of steam, and now that they will have stiff competition with publishers and devs not selling there games on steam, now they want to come back and act as if it has nothing to do with that.

Valve will have to reinvent games to get me to look in there direction again, but I’m sure most ppl will just jump right back in with no problem.

And Gabe’s “hurray we’re back to shipping” just comes off forced and not at all genuine.

I do think that with Half-Life 3, it will be impossible to live up to expectations. I think it be wise to let Half-Life lay dormant. However, I don't understand why they haven't made any new entries in their other franchises though. I would kill for a new L4D3 or a Portal 3. I love both of those series so much and Valve is sitting on a fantastic series doing nothing but minor server updates on them. It's can't be that difficult to make a Left 4 Dead 3 as that isn't too story heavy. With Portal 3, I can see it being a bit trickier, but all the cast are great and they have amazing dialogues. They had more than enough time to plan out a story for that.

Please Valve, just start making fun games again like Left 4 Dead 3 and Portal 3.

I doubt theyre aware of all the jokes, unless instead of game development they just sat back to read all the commentary while steam pulled in all this cash. Glad to see them squirm a little because to the gaming community, they didnt really give a sh!t. Evolve seemed like a great concept, but it fell flat because it entered a field of numerous and stiff competition. Instead of listening to the gamers, they pulled an MS and tried to force feed something that wasnt wanted.

I haven't played a Card Game on PC, purposefully, since Spider Solitaire on Windows XP.

That said, I don't get it. What's the pull of all these card games?
