Not really. If it had to be a Nintendo game I thought Super Mario Odyssey was beautifully done and way more deserving.
Just felt like it relied on the Zelda name first and then the actual game second.
I haven't played the game but it sure did receive a lot of perfect scores and tons of praise.
Not to mention...some friends I talk with who have played the game have all said they loved it and it's one of the best games they played this year.
