the turn-based strategy system returns!

I want to digress a bit, this is what I was talking about when I said in another story that Switch+PS4 will combine to make a large install base for Japanese games. it encourages risks like this.

franchise was in hiatus a long time and SEGA didn't think it was worth the financial risk but since Switch,Xbox and PS4 use standard PC architecture the game can be developed for all platforms and target the combined market under one budget, the only real extra work they have to do is bug testing and very little re-coding. it's not like the PS3/360 generation where games had to be developed for each platform from the ground up.

maybe there is a chance for the return of Suikoden now.

Xbox is starting to get a lot of Japanese love too.Who would have thunk?

naruga2384d ago

at least they returned back to WW 2 aesthetics /concept and not that ridiculous Spin Off cheap RPG sht ....lets wait to see the final result

I know it makes no sense since the base doesn't support their work and no one wants to spend time and money working or something that the community is going to reducible and treat like a tool, not to be played but brought up in community forums to make points that don't exist.

@newmonday, how was this franchise in hiatus for a long time when it had a Ps3 release and Ps4 remaster? Long hiatus would be if it came out in the saturn era and only NOW making a return.

On topic, I just picked up the PS3 version for cheap at GS recently. I like it. Looking forward to this one.

Suikoden would be awesome, but Konami doesn't care about making games anymore.

more 3rd party for switch.....its getting boring now, knowing a whole bunch of games coming for switch, jus post release dates

PlayableGamez-2384d ago

Outside of indie games, the switch hardly got any 3rd party games this year.

Gemmol2383d ago

who talking about this year.....the year about to end......this article said next year, and a lot of developers said they would have something coming next year, 2018 will be a great year
