Good lord I hope they get away from collecting lugs ad nausea. I would rather enjoy level design rather than destroy anything and everything in sight and chase around the stupid things just to hit the True Jedi requirement.

Perjoss2990d ago

I dont think true jedi has ever been a requirement in these games unless you want to go full completionist. You can just play through the story, have fun and ignore the collecting if you want.

You cant get the red bricks without that true jedi stuff in most lego games. The red bricks are usually pretty sweet.
I just got Jurassic Park a few weeks back. My first thought was "Cool!" Then immediately I was like, "Right, lets get destroying".

I am predominantly a completionist though. Its not an easy life choice.

How Developers Adapted to the End of Sony's Handheld Line

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "When Sony entered the world of handheld gaming in 2004, it provided a new opportunity for developers to chase a different market than had existed before. Over the next decade we saw multiple companies, from both western and eastern shores, shift their pipelines to focus on providing software for both the PlayStation Portable and its successor the PlayStation Vita. Despite the latter’s relatively weak hardware sales, there were still successes to be found on the console, which meant that it was easy to plan a future around being a Vita developer.

By 2014, though, it had become clear that Sony was no longer interested in pursuing the handheld market and this left a number of companies in difficulty – they’d either need to adapt to the shifting times, or face dying out altogether. In this article, I’m aiming to look at what happened to developers who made both the PSP and Vita their main focus, how they adapted to the demise of Sony handhelds, what future plans they made, and how well they’re doing in the current gaming market."

The moved to the Switch from Vita. Some of the exact same games or similar games from those developers. Loved the Vita and glad to see those devs still have a platform to release lesser budget fun games.

LOVE the LEGO Star Wars games, and have been hoping for more since the TFA one dropped in 2016. Finally!

RosweeSon1873d ago

Yeha was only thinking this the other day what happened to episode 8 my guess was they were waiting for 9 and they’ll do 8/9 together and hopefully chuck in force awakens as well... or who knows do all 9 episodes they done the first 7 already after all ;)

Relientk771873d ago

Considering that Episode 9 comes out this holiday, it makes sense. Now fans get Jedi Fallen Order and a Lego Star Wars.

Mr Marvel1873d ago (Edited 1873d ago )

Yes!
LEGO Star Wars games are awesome!
I wish they’re re-release LSW:The Complete Saga on PS4 too as the PS3 version lacked trophy support.

Benoski1873d ago

Watch it be LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

RosweeSon1873d ago

Possibly but they’ve missed the boat on that it’ll be in there with the new one tho I’d think. If not all 9 episodes would be epic.

Pumped! My dream Lego Star Wars game would encompass all three trilogies and even have content from the spinoffs and shows. I’d accept those as DLC.
