I think that's possible. I have a friend that only owns a 360 and he said he didn't want to comment on this site any more because it is all one sided and you get jumped on unless you 100% pro-PS3/anti-360. He isn't a hateful kind of guy or even much of a fanboy. He is kind of between a casual gamer and a hardcore gamer and doesn't have a lot of money. That is why he doesn't own a PS3. But he feels like everybody hates him because he owns a 360.

How is this new footage? Unless I clicked on the wrong video somehow, this is the same footage I saw a long time ago.
I don't get it. They didn't say anything bad about the graphics. Then again, how can you say anything bad about the graphics?
2011 is going to be a great year. Uncharted 3 will certainly be one of the highlights. I love Uncharted and I have no doubt that Naughty Dog will accomplish great things with Uncharted 3.
Gears of War 3 has no real changes? Are you delusional?
Gears 3 added an entire real-time lighting engine (you know, one of the biggest things that makes Uncharted look so good) and you say that is no real change?
Real-time lighting has a huge impact on the quality and realism of a game's graphics. It is also quite intensive from an engine perspective, so the fact that it has been added to Gears of War 3, where the previous two games lacked it, is a maj...
Nitrowolf2, you're crazy if you don't think that Microsoft's small amount of first party studios is largely to blame. I don't see any developer under the Microsoft umbrella that I really expect will suddenly start pumping out bleeding edge graphics. The only way that will happen is if Microsoft gets some new studios.
If you took Guerrilla, SSM and Naughty Dog away from Sony people would be saying "why are the graphics on the PS3 lagging behind". <...
"However, 360 games definitely seem maxed out. We have yet to see any 360 game surpass the graphics of CoD or Gears 2. The PS3, on the other hand, continues to outdo itself year after year."
Gwave, it might seem like that to you, but I have seen improvement in 360 games. Gears of War 3 has a whole dynamic lighting engine that was completely absent in Gears 2. Fable 3 looks a lot better than Fable 2. Alan Wake was probably the best looking 360 game I had played up...
Well said, man.
Good graphics are always nice to have, but they aren't the end all be all. Some people seem like that is all they care about when they talk about the PS3. It's like it is the most important thing in the world for them for the PS3 to be seen as the most powerful console.
I still play some of my older consoles and the poorer graphics is quickly forgotten about when it is a good game.
Like I said, I do think graphics ca...
Red Dead Redemption is one of the best gaming experiences ever in my opinion.
Sorry, but this is way beyond anything seen in any game before. They are using new technology to achieve it and it looks several degrees better than anything done before.
People always forget that the 360 version had a better framrate and 2xMSAA instead of no anti-aliasing as on the PS3 version. It was a trade off, not a win for the PS3 like some people try to claim.
I don't know why anybody expects to see a difference on such crummy and small videos. If you see it on large high def TV you will notice some differences. Not so much in the art or textures, but mostly in the way it runs.
Not on my tv it isn't. They both look extremely close, but if anything the 360 version looks ever so slightly sharper. And I mean it is very, very subtle. But since you were saying the opposite, I am just explaining exactly what I saw.
Very well done. That was great.
Or to take that reasoning further, I guess we could just get Mass Effect 3 on the PS3 and have comics explain what happened in ME1 and ME2. Or better yet, why don't we skip the games altogether and just watch interactive comics of the three games? It's just as good, right?
But people are reporting the PS3 version has screen tearing whereas the 360 version had no screen tearing.
I hope it is only the demo, but from past experience that is almost never the case.
If you did a screenshot comparison between Uncharted and Uncharted 2 it would be obvious that Uncharted 2 looks better.
If that's true, that sucks. The 360 version has no visible screen tearing.
It is time consuming and expensive to get at the PS3's optimal performance. A few first party devs can work magic on it, but many more struggle.
Yeah, it really was pretty good. I enjoyed Fable 3, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2 and Halo Reach the most.
