The market always dictates, besides last I checked (as a ps5 owner) sony exclusives are few and far between, at least anything worth playing that is. And if I can play it on ps4 I'm not too then I'm not calling it exclusive.
I'm sure the player base would disagree, and gta5 is still being supported, much longer then most games, after all I bought gta5 day 1 on ps3....
Well if you look at the last 10 years you will notice there wasn't as single paid dlc. Every update was free whether you want to complain about sharkcards or not.
They're going to make billions on this game especially if they keep the same formula as last in regards to updates.

Edit: it's one thing for games to go to pc , and a completely different thing for games to go from xbox to ps5. That will stop people from buying a second console.
I think you're missing the point, xbox games are slowly coming to ps5, the very reason not to buy an xbox.
MS isn't recouping any of their investments if they don't open their games to all platforms. I would hate to have bought into xbox at this point.

Well I own it on ps5 and I'm enjoying it. I was considering buying an xbox because I was interested in this game... now I don't need another console.

Most sony exclusives aren't all that to begin with, and pc has the option to upgrade what they want when they want it. Having access to some ps5 games, gamepass and steam.
