Honestly, it does nothing for me. I hike once a month, play tennis twice a week and workout five days a week. Besides counting my steps, it does nothing for me.

I agree with your list. My outpost should serve as a hub were space merchants can come and buy resources. F*ck, I am mining helium-3 so why can't I have a refuelling depot for people to buy? That means I have a functioning economy in game.
As for the ship building, sometimes I find it frustrating with doors not appearing where I would want them to be. I think it would be great to be able to walk round your ship before you commit to the changes you made.
