Games get review bombed all the time. I think actual social media outcries had a bigger f*cking impact than a bunch of review bombing. The fact that people want their money back and took steps to make that happen had more of an impact that a negative user score. Sales, money, moola speak louder than a bunch of trolls review bombing a game. Delisting a game that people bought from a to of countries and public reputation being damaged by that reporting has more impact than a bunch of dumb user ...
There goes my hopes for an Evil Within 3. Y’know, I was one of those people all for the MS acquisition and look what happens… devoured the studios for “quality” games. People said this would happen, lesson learned. Thanks Microsoft, thanks for f*cking nothing.

User reviews are a f*cking joke and always have been. This goes to show just how pointless they are. Let’s make bullsh*t reviews because we’re mad, as if the game is any different. I like how people move the goal-post. First it’s, f*ck any game with MTX’s, f*ck GaaS games, f*ck this game with “optional” MTX’s (Dragon’s Dogma 2), Helldivers 2 is ok because it’s fun and even though it has Battle Passes or Season Passes and MTX’s it’s ok because… you don’t need to buy them? 🤷♂️

The 3 monthly “free” games you keep as long as you have PS+ subscription. The PS+ library is like Netflix. They rotate stuff out and replace them with other titles.

I’m so glad I grew up in it gaming at a time when most publishers just took a chance with new IPs and existing IPs. The PS1 and PS2 are the greatest libraries of games, in my opinion. Now, it’s just focus on the popular IPs and taking risks can absolutely kill a dev studio. It sucks.

If it’s a hybrid like Evil Within 2 that would be excellent. That game blew me away with how there were optional things you could totally miss like that ghost lady that would follow you around.

Oh no you’re right, it has nothing to do with refunds and publicity, it’s all because of Steam reviews. I’m sorry, I totally see it now. The inaccurate negative review scores out of spite are what got Sony to change it. I’m not being sarcastic when I say this, either. I see it now. The positive reviews to fix the spite false negative reviews makes it all better now, too. Crazy, thanks for helping me understand how impactful user reviews are. 🙄
