I don't think this game tries to hide what it is. If you like what you see that's what you get. We get into perceived worth at this point and I hate when people try to push an agenda telling others what it's worth in their eyes vs what it's worth to us.

yea but this just seems like they're trying too hard especially since a lot of mixed reviews are out and it's been a heated topic between people who were looking forward to the game.
Man, I remember thinking this dude was incredible when God of War came out...he's never made anything that wowed me ever since.
Lol, yea this is straight damage control. I could easily make a trailer with al the negative review scores and showing footage of what they complain about. Like, I think the game is great but this is a really a sad pathetic attempt to make the game look good.

My gosh is it really that bad? Like either this reviewer is full of sh*t or this game is one the biggest disappointments of this year. I'm still checking it out but the low scores put a dent in my hype.

See, I somewhat agree that it's not the strongest entry in series, but I completely disagree that it's a bad game. 8/10 I actually think is a fair score. I mean if it's the worst in the series because you hate action and loud Michael Bay set pieces that's more indicative of a preference rather than the game being objectively bad.
Yea I'm not gonna' lie, while I was wanting another iteration of a Duscae type demo I really didn't mind the Platinum demo at all. Granted I can wrap my head around it being a tech demo of sorts that shows a variety of effects that'll be in the final game. I think some people are mega butt-hurt that they're not getting to play a piece of the game or at least a more conventional piece of gameplay.

Dude it's a free demo that gives you an incentive to play through it. It's F-R-E-E. It's a little something to hold you over till the final game comes out and gives fans a bonus. Is Carbuncle imperative to the making the final game playable or unplayable? No, so quit whining!
Nobody is punishing you for not playing the demo. If anything you get a FREE reward for playing something for 20 minutes. I swear you can't please anybody nowadays!
Oh, this is again my issue with these garbage opinion pieces being tossed off as reviews. This is in no way, shape, or form a 3/10. You must be out of your damn mind if you think that. Is this a game for old-school RE fans? Depends. Seems like for the vocal fanboys it isn't, but I love this series and while I prefer the older RE game...
