I have a strong suspicion this is PR. Let’s be real… the game sold terribly for a A to the 4th game. Nobody is latching onto this and I bet those who turn up for Season 2 will be far less that those who initially tried it.
Why do I get the feeling they’re actively avoiding a Code Veronica Remake, at this point?
Y’know, when they showed the Unreal 5 demo and that Matrix demo, I honestly thought we’d be seeing next-level stuff this gen. Yet, we got things like Suicide Squad and aside from things like Dead Souls Remake I haven’t seen anything that you couldn’t see on last-gen… heck 80% of this gen is cross-gen.
So, no. Next-gen will probably be cross-gen again and I doubt there will be anything photorealistic.

Better late than never. I haven’t been into an Ass Creed game since Black Flag and I only liked the non-Ass Creed parts of that game. This one will be the first I’ve played since Unity, which killed any interest I had with the series,
I always get confused by this, but is 72k good sales numbers for a game? I keep seeing games fail at selling 2.5 million and that they need to be on multiple platforms but is an additional 72k adding much?

Yea, people are kind of dumb. I mean, no offense to @Jingsing up there, I know that’s blunt but it reminds me of Bayonetta 2 when that got announced and it was a Nintendo exclusive. It’s exclusive because f*cking Nintendo funded the development. But people were all like f*ck Sega for sh*tting on their fans when in actuality the game never would’ve gotten made if Nintendo didn’t straight up pay for the development.

Also, they already covered themselves by law. When you click accept on that User Agreement you agreed to terms of not owning the game but purchasing a license to play the game.
So… yea, the law’s going to tell you if you don’t accept those terms then you shouldn’t have agreed to them.

I think we’ll be just fine. Look at PC gamers, how long have they been digital only? I don’t see a single PC gamer whining about how games are ruined because they’re digital only on PC or how they’re just going to stop playing games because they aren’t physical…

I really liked the first game, albeit it was a “one n’ done” for me. I’ll probably enjoy this, but again, as I’ve stated in many comments for as long as they’ve been working on this the game length and barely any new additions (if any) to the game is a major disappointment.
It’s a damn shame, honestly. I have Gamepass though, so I’ll go ahead and “rent” it for a weekend and finish it. It’s hard to see this doing well and for how long this one took to get 5 hours of gameplay...
