For all the hate that has been sent in the direction of the Call Of Duty Brand especially in the rise of the great Battlefield 3, everything is about to change.

Modern Warfare 3 will truly be a special FPS debut that will give a brand new breathe of fresh air for the franchise.

Considering Uncharted 3 is coming out around the time that Modern Warfare 3 is coming out...I don't know if MW3 is on my radar. I usually like to stick to one multiplayer game at a time in order to get good at it.

I've never owned, rented, or borrowed a COD game in my life..but anythings possible I guess. If I c something in MW3 that I REALLY like, then I'll get it. I just doubt that theres anything it can do to make me buy it over UC3..which I believe is coming out the same day.

EDIT: Btw, the vid stopped suddenly when u and Torrence were talking about Ipad 2. And I can't fast forward for some reason.

HHG as long as it's the same engine it will run like ass online, period. I have grown tired of seeing the enemy, or at least thinking I am seeing him, unload a clip into him and only to get killed, then watch the kill cam and realize he had the drop on me when here I thought he had his back turned to me. The COD engine is GARBAGE and the netcode is HORRIBLE.

As far as the single player campaign? Please, it's worst then their online component.

I demand destruction, improved controls and less lag infested game, and most a much longer campaign. really he went to an actvision (spell check) event and saw it. in his last video with shane from GT and torrence davis they were at it or about to go to it, he was talking about the event at the end of that video

What was shown are weapon pictures and I think heli shot.The problem was those weapon pictures were taken from their engine,actually from asset creation phase where all the things around weapons were just plain 2d buildings with low textures,no normal or bump mapping and where scene is totally UNLIT.The problem for people who said "Yea,weapons look great but everything else is crap" is that only thing that will look like that in game will be weapons,and they will be lit(so shaders reacting to different light conditions will give it even better look) and actual buildings and environements will be made out of polygons,with all types of textures and decals and won't look like this crap from their engine that they put just so they don't get bored of the thing that you can get bored of in UDK(see below).

So to put it simple...
those leaked images mean shit.They only show weapons done in their asset creation tool in engine,which are also unlit and show absolutely nothing that will be there in game except for gun models.

What are these people expecting or trying to hype. The CoD engine is painfully not at its best for consoles. This might be something on high end PC's but I have serious doubt it matters.
