Sonic Generations will have both 2D side scrolling that is classically set from the 1991 iterations and the modern 3D that has been used in Sonic’s newest games. The blend of two different gameplay styles implemented in one Sonic title.
Sonic the Hedgehog has a long and turbulent history in videogames, but which are the best games featuring the blue bur?
Generations over Mania? Please… Generations doesnt have any new ideas in the levels/bosses.
Also a top 7 of Sonic games shouldn’t have any 3D crap and contain at least one of the 8-bit titles.
Sonic CD getting snubbed is weird. Number 1 is definitely interchangable between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Top 7 for me
7 cd
6 mania
5 Frontiers
4 sonic 3
3 sonic 1
2 sonic and knuckles
1 sonic 2
Sometimes I feel like the Sonic Advanced games just didn’t exist with how much it’s always forgotten 😭
The divide between both iterations of Sonic is now reaching spin-off territory, and the way Sega is handling it is both a blessing and a curse.
BLG writes: "With the success of the films and the promise of Frontiers, it’s possible that we’re ushering in a new golden age of Sonic the Hedgehog. While Sega is looking forward, the company is also looking back. It’s giving us Sonic Origins, a retooled collection of Genesis classics. However, this package fails to provoke a burning question: what’s the best Sonic handheld game?"
From what I hear this is a promising Sonic game. We have seen some good Sonic and some bad Sonic but like Mario, we will always give it another shot! !
I can't wait for this game. Old School Sonic FTW
i really like the idea of the 2d and 3d segments. im interested to see how its executed. cool idea though.
Haha it's hard for me to comment on this after our latest podcast, all I can say is, gamers know what they want and I hope SEGA will understand that with this game
I like it too much but just can't trust on sega
Or trust on companies hype
