Supporting this franchise is just like supporting COD. If you want to watch the FPS genre keep rolling down that hill that its nearly at the bottom of, then go buy halo. I think if developers are going to demand more from us ($), we should demand more from them. Frankly, Im sick of passing out $60 every time some developer takes a dump and calls it a game.

I will give bungie one hand over IW though. At least with the Halo series, you can see they try.

That would be a bomb announcement. I doubt it would happen though. Don't take this as a serious comment revolving around personal fulfillment or wishful thinking. It's just a true representation of what actually popped in my head. I'm rather neutral about the whole concept anyway.

Just don't change the gameplay to much. The meat and potatoes of Halo is Team Slayer so keep it at 4vs4. Maybe add just a few more players in Big Team to 10vs10. Anything more than that and the game would turn into an easy fragfest. Keep it tactical. Kinda disappointed that are they taking away equipment but interested on how the new abilities are going to work.

Like I said before, ranked games like Team slayer or MLG should be kept at 4v4 or at least 5v5. Social playlists like big team or social slayer can be increased. Big team should at least be 18-24 players.. That would be cool.

Halo's gameplay is already perfect so need to improve it drastically. Just a few tweaks here and there. I don't want to see to many players because if I had a sniper than I'm just going to easily hit 100 kills a game. 8vs8 and you actually are killing people that matter to the game and not just some noob running around the map.

Oh and please put BTB ranked again. The competition their can be fierced but it can also be weak. Rank it and problem is solved.

My fellow Sony gamers, the "BOMB" that Bungie is going to drop means that it's going to dump another crap in the videogame industry. First of all...do you guys realize why Halo went exclusive only to Microsoft? Well, Bungie was first thinking about making Halo only for the PS2, but they later found out that Sony policy FAVORS gaming innovation and different gaming tastes...a philosophy that goes against everything Halo. Bungie knows Halo were (and still are) meant for moronic 12-year old dolts and adults who never graduated from elementary school as the "potential target" wouldn't mind buying the same old crap every year. Meanwhile, Microsoft smelled "big bucks" coming from the dimwitted mass of gamers, and quickly took in Bungie. Pair up Bungie's so-called "gaming talents" with Microsoft's "advertisements made for suckers" and you have a business that criminally milks money from the terminally stupid!!

As you can see simply by comparing Sony games to MS games, you could see a very contrasting difference. Sony games like Gran Turimo series, Uncharted, Demon Souls, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, and many others proudly show innovation as well as diversity of gaming tastes. The 360 console, on the other hand, only has Halo...a franchise in which every game IS THE SAME...OLD...CRAP (except for Halo Wars, but then again a piss-poor copy of Command and Conquer)!! Of course...the misguided 360 ding-dongs will tell you that they have Mass Effect (boring, alien sex fest simulator) and the upcoming Alan Wake, a game which is essentially a piss-poor HD rip-off of Luigi's Mansion and Silent Hill.

I already know what this is as I'm an industry insider. The big news is that the MP part of Halo Reach is going to be released on PS3 as an online game only. So while the single player and multiplayer portion of the game come exclusive to 360....the PS3 is getting the online portion of the game as a standalone game. This will be Bungie's introduction to PS3 fans and owners, and the start of there multiplatform endeavors.
