Atari will be bringing another round of the Dragon Ball Z action fighting game series to the Wii and PlayStation 2 "during the 2007 holiday season." Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be the "ultimate chapter," according to the company, and will feature 20 characters that have not been seen before in the video game adaptations. The latest game is being developed by Namco Bandai and Spike.
Atari's senior product manager, Emily Anadu, commented, "[These characters include] Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta and battle stages that fans will love. Each year, the developers refine the game to bring fans closer to feeling like they are actually playing the show."

They don't make games like this anymore.
Too dated in my book. The AI is way too unpredictable to be acceptable today. It's definitely a game of its time.
I had a good time with the game. It is a product of its time. But when it came out it was a must have game for a lot of people. I wish Ubisoft would make another game in the series or at least a reboot.
Due to the lack of modern stealth games, and me constantly playing the MGS series, I've been looking for alternative stealth games to play, and went back and re-played the SC series recently. I wouldn't call SC1 or SC:PT masterpieces, there are AI issues, they're very much trial-and-error games, and that can lead to a lot of frustration. I also found the stories in this series to be boring, uninteresting, and just sloppily told. Cinematics are also of poor quality for both in-game scenes and CG cut-scenes, the soundtrack didn't leave any impression on me either.
Chaos Theory is better, but there was still a lot of room for improvement, and Double Agent (old gen ver.) was a sloppy mess that ended up a regression from CT. But still, at least they tried back then, these days Ubi-junk doesn't even try to make good games!
i have owned all versions on PS2 except the first, Dragon Ball Z Budokia (number 1) and out of all of them i have enjoyed DBZ Budokia 3 the most, then coming in second is DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2. didnt really enjoy Tenkaichi 1, so with the news of yet another game coming from a great series which is Dragon Ball Z, i hope they make it the best one yet, as i doubt i will be able to not buy this game lol. as for the new characters i really only use the main ones so i can transform lol, but i am looking forward to how the new fighting etc works out.
i really like the tenkaichi series because they capture the tv show almost perfectly but there are still things that they can improve like the story mode but the line up of characters that are available is incredible..the gameplay is what made me buy this game because its 3d fighing..can't wait for a PS3 version
These are two new characters rumoured to be in the game.
