A recent Mass Effect forum thread has revealed that a sizable snafu has cropped up among the early adopters of the game's recently released (and still unannounced) Pinnacle Station DLC -- while players can download the intergalactic Fight Club scenario problem-free, the content isn't actually showing up in-game for some folks. Posters in this forum thread report that Pinnacle Station conflicts with the Bring Down The Sky DLC content that was bundled with the Platinum Hits version of Mass Effect.
Thanks to their innovative approach to gaming, RPGs like Dark Souls, Final Fantasy VII, and Dragon Quest left a significant impact on the genre.
ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.
GF365: "A friend makes the adventure all the more fun. Here are the best video game companions that will keep you company."
The Mass Effect N7 Day teaser has already been decoded, and it features Liara T'Soni talking about The Council, and The Geth can be heard too.
Better not bring back Shepherd from the dead with some half assed space magic.
@snowb420.
Yeah I saw that at the end of my play through as well. I think they will bring Shepard back….. or at least a mutant version turned villain. Lol
More glitchy DLC for the xbots.
but then I read the reviews and decided it wasn't worth it. I guess I'll just have to wait till fiscal 2010 for some more ME action!
This whole thing stinks. The DLC comes out with almost no press or marketing. Highly unlike a Bioware release or their DLC 'Bring Down the Sky'. Imo, Pinnacle Station sucks largely because it doesn't stay at all true to the game's RPG roots. A few lines of new dialogue then shoot a bunch of things in aimless scenarios.
So the rumour goes, this DLC was actually created by Demiurge. That's why it doesn't have the obvious Bioware quality. That does not imo excuse Bioware which really should have maintained some kind of quality control over their IP.
The last bone I have to pic with them is this: if you're going to promise "loads" of content, f*cking deliver. Too many devs have used DLC as a selling point for the initial release only to quietly forget all about it after launch. The game has been out since 2007. Why are there only two DLCs? If you're going to ignore expanding on ME to focus on a sequel, just say that. I don't like being lead on, especially by one of my favourite devs.
for the ps3 also so ps3 owners can have a taste off a game they will never play
