Tecmo handed out copies of Official PlayStation Magazine US at the event, which has a big article about the game.
The mag has a quote from Hayachi saying, "Violence is not going to be one of the key selling points of this title... It's not all about how bloody it is." Instead they're going for "a much cooler, cleaner, sleeker look". So you won't see great big spurts of blood, but clouds of purple essence when enemies get dismembered.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 debuted in 2009; ahead of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's launch, it's time to look back at one of Tecmo Koei's best titles.
Grab your katana, and slice your way through this list featuring the best hack and slash games the PlayStation 3 had to offer.
Dante's inferno... an excellent GoW inspired game. So sad the sequels will never be.
heavenly sword was such a short, but amazing game. that game should be prime material to be made into a download only remaster.
I really enjoyed Castlevania, but struggled to get into it again reattempting it a few years back. I still think it does another of things well; story, presentation, level varietily and art style at least. Gameplay maybe has not stood test of time unfortunately which makes it a chore to get through.
In the conclusion to a three part series, CV takes a look at the most recent Ninja Gaiden games, for better and for worse.
They need to make a true sequel to Ninja Gaiden 2, that was the most satisfying combat I've experienced in a hack n slash game.
been playing 1&2 on and off since they were released. I usually will play until I get frustrated then take another year off lol. Nver tried 3 or the 4th one even though they are in my backlog.
I tried to go back to Sigma but good god those controls are just insufferable. Couldn't do it.
Change from itgaki's style I hope it pays off.
We wants bluuuuud! >_<
But then again that's interesting.
This actually makes more sense. I actually hated the blood...because it wasn't liquid when it hit the wall or floor...I would see it coming off a wall and floating in thin air >_>
I wonder why they went in this direction? Japanese gamers?
I see what they are saying. There is blood, but instead of blood spraying out when dismembered there will be this...fog, or purple mist that flows out somewhat like a smokey mist...hmm hard to explain but...imagine how fluid it would look...oh man...sorry about these broken sentences but I can see what they are aiming at in my head. They are pulling off this sleek stylish look, that includes blood but the mist is like this added effect that makes the battle look even more stylish..man how can I explain this better..??? I dont know but I hope you got an idea of what I was trying to explain.
Edit: check thenew screenshots you can see the mist and some blood insome of the shots.
