Microsoft is limiting Xbox Game Pass subscription extensions in certain countries to deter players from stacking their membership at a cheaper rate.

I always get confused by this, but is 72k good sales numbers for a game? I keep seeing games fail at selling 2.5 million and that they need to be on multiple platforms but is an additional 72k adding much?
Sony has also launched the PSN Store "Weekend Offer" this May 17, and this one includes a lot of AAA titles, and 2K-published games.
Some good games but they are all old and should be a lot cheaper than what they are on that sale. Hard pass.
The Epic Games Store has a GOTY Edition, AAA title they want you to add to your library.

Makes sense many users piled on at the beginning for very cheap. Cannot imagine that selling Games Pass at a loss helps Microsoft to pay for all the development and not to mention the cost of having to earn back the 70 billion it spent. The free rides are probably going to slow down with most likely a price increase coming in the next year or so especially once they merge more of Activision's content into Games Pass.
