Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers Get Free YouTube Premium Right Now

One of the benefits of signing up for Xbox Game Pass is that members get subscription benefits from time to time. Right now, one of those perks is access to YouTube Premium for three months.

Game Pass Ultimate members can navigate to the "Perks" tab of their subscription profile to find a page that offers up three months of YouTube Premium for the low cost of $0. The only catch is that you can't have previously signed up for YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium's own three-month trial. And the offer does not stack if you're an existing subscriber to YouTube Premium. The offer must be claimed by May 22, 2024.

This is a pretty nice perk. The subscription normally goes for $14/month or $140 for the year. YouTube Premium was previously added as a Game Pass perk back in 2021.

Nice little addon just to bad majority of the features are locked to united states like the tv/red stuff even full episodes/movies are locked to youtube usa.

But 3 months with a simple click why not.

Doomeduk63d ago

3 months of watching helldivers 2 videos for free thanks Phil I don't see who it helps Spencer

fr0sty63d ago

They're just trying everything they can think of to try to get people to sign up at this point... tossing one Hail Mary after another.

PS+ Premium gives subscribers a rotating catalog of movies and anime from Crunchy Roll.

And as a PSPlus subscriber I have gotten 24 months of Apple TV and 12 Months on iTunes, both of them are still active for me.

Profchaos63d ago

I appreciate this stuff but my sub is up in around two months and I'm going to need a little more convincing to renew it this time and nothing but games will get me there.

I've gotten to the point of going out and buying the disc versions of the games I really like since if they are on gamepass the physical version can often be had for a fiver or less some as low as $1.

Zeref63d ago (Edited 63d ago )

I mean you could just look up what the upcoming gamepass games are and make your decision accordingly...

thesoftware73063d ago (Edited 63d ago )

Man, you are hard to please lol.

This month just saw, Evil West, Diablo 4, Light Year Frontier, Open Roads, Hot Wheels, The Quarry, MLB: The show, No more Heros 3, Control:UE, and NBA24, just to name a few...that's a lot of decent to great content, and April already has the new ARk: coming.

I'm not trying to discredit your decision, but just saying , that is a well rounded line up.

TheColbertinator63d ago (Edited 63d ago )

It is well rounded and there is plenty of quality there but some gamers have very specific tastes. I myself haven't renewed Game Pass PC for 4 months from the lack of personally interesting games to me. And the games I do want I buy day one whether they are on Game Pass or not.

notachance63d ago

I’ll wait until they give free xbox series x with gamepass subscription..

Gaming4Life198163d ago

Gamepass is great on every level.

Barlos63d ago

It really is. It's great for being able to watch ad free videos on YouTube of the games you can't play on Xbox

Modpeel63d ago (Edited 63d ago )

I got 3 months of gamepass for free when I bought a 4070 Ti in December. I redeemed it, browsed some games (didnt play any) and forgot about it until it expired

Can FSR 3 frame generation deliver the 120fps dream on PS5 and Xbox?

Frame generation technology has arrived on consoles, amplifying frame-rates and potentially transforming experiences.

adds between 8.3-15.3 milliseconds of latency on the game they tested, - no thanks

darksky22h ago

Base latency is 130.8ms and frame gen takes that up to 139.1ms. A 7% increase in latency is hardly a deal breaker.

Zenzuu22h ago

That's hardly a deal breaker and not really noticeable. Even the folks at Digital Foundry said so as well.

darthv721d 15h ago

Impressive results... sadly I don't have a 120hz display. I was thinking this technique could increase fps on any game that supports it regardless of the display.

purple1011d 15h ago (Edited 1d 15h ago )

I have a vrr telly in the lounge,

On another point, what if it were the other way around where the developer aims for higher fps, then used something like pssr to make the resolution higher, that might be better?

Any which way, PS5 pro sure looks interesting now, being they have already doubled frame rate, with JUST just this fsr3.0

sagapo20h ago

It’s up to dev’s to implement FSR 3 support tho but most probably will I guess (hope).

Eonjay6h ago

Yes it would increase the framerate but it would add more noticeable latency. The impact of latency goes down the more natural frames produced. So a monitor that can push bast 60 will naturally allow the game to operate much smoother. Add VRR to this and now you have a much more enjoyable experience.

BlackDoomAx22h ago

Can it deliver the 60fps dream?

purple10113h ago(Edited 13h ago)

no, it delivers approx 80fps.

which is why I say why not target 60fps with this new tech and use the upscaling pssr, (Sonys version of Nvidia's DLSS, that seems so popular in the pc realm)

then we have best of both, better believe ps5pro will be doing all the above.

andy8521h ago

Now I've extensively tried it I'm not too fussed about 120 fps. Give me a locked 60 and more details and I'm more than happy

anast17h ago(Edited 17h ago)

120 is a bit slow. My eyes can't look at anything less than 260fps.
