The Finals Season 2 has already seen a 67% drop in users but players are still hopeful

The Finals Season 2 is over, but players say the publisher needs to put more money into marketing to promote the game.

Battle royales are on their way out imo. Although the finals is definitely one of the most polished BR experiences to date, the formula is just stale at this point.

Same with survival games. People are realizing that the majority of the gameplay loop is just boring.
Too much downtime, where half the time you're waiting for your team mate to die already so you can re-qeue.
Survival games require hours of repetitive boring tasks before you can get to the "fun part".

Maybe the genre just doesn't click for me, but I would rather play competitive rounds back to back like in Counter-Strike instead of dying from an unseen sniper after spending 30 minutes looting.

It's not a battle Royale. It's just a fresh new take on the generic fps and it's sad that people ignore it for the same old thing. It's actually a bigger issue in gaming as a whole.

It's not fresh nor new, it's literally just squad death match from BF3, or Uncharted 3, or pretty much every other fps and tps of the last 15 years. With a "game show" aesthetic which has been done by quite a few BR games. Only thing it does right is destruction but it's so small scale that it , at least in the few matches I got into, gets completely ignored by players.

Inverno, if you play a bit more you'll see more use the environment. The game is pretty fresh, as hard as it is to be fresh these days. It may even be unique. Whwn i for into it dueing the beta...destruction was heavy. Very heavy constantly. Just not in noob lobbies. Another of the time the buildings come apart completely.

Every game sees a big drop in players, be it online or not. That's just how it goes. What do you expect when the industry is throwing out new games every week with massive marketing campaigns behind them? There are so many games coming out that the market is just super saturated.

Too many changes and imbalances...nerfing the aim got me too, i didnt think there was anything wrong with it, it got nerfed so hard it was like playing another game...like what happend....annddd i stopped playing.

You deleted the game on consoles since end of January. What do you expect? 30 minutes ranked queues at 11 AM on a Saturday on PS5. Crossplay off and it will never be turned on since you gutting controller to useless and stand no chance to PC
