This is one of my favorite Nintendo consoles!
I will never forget the biggest lie ever from Nintendo claiming switch and 3ds will always coexist.. they stopped supporting it the day switch released..

The last first party Nintendo game on the 3DS was in 2019. The Switch dropped early 2017. They supported the 3DS for 8 years and moved on. It's not like it was exacty lighting up the sales charts in those final years.

Now that you mention it I played my 3DS a lot more than I have the Switch and I do play it from time to time still. I really liked the 3DS library so many JRPGs. I don’t play Mario’s, didn’t play the last Zelda though I own it, not into Pokémon. I buy all of those games for my kids now but they aren’t games I want to play. Switch has a decent library but for my collection it’s smaller than my 3DS collection. If games are on switch or ps5 I pick ps5. With 3DS it seemed to have more games that were 3DS only.

End of an era, a great device that I play often. Still doing daily Badge Arcade as well! I'll be sad to see the internet functionality disappear, but I'm happy to know that fans will restore the servers eventually.

So it looks like they have abandoned unreal for future iterations of the game and are sticking with ego. So that means no decent VR support on PC and none on console seeing as the ego can't handle it properly. I think I'm done with this franchise it's turned into fifa with a hefty price tag and no innovation from one year to the next. Time for someone else to have a go at this licence
