IGN: "Welcome back to Next-Gen Console Watch. This week Daemon is joined by Podcast Unlocked's Ryan McCaffrey, and Podcast Beyond's Jada Griffin. The topic: Xbox finally has some first-party games coming this year, and it surprisingly looks more promising than the PS5's 2024 offerings."
Eurogamer's review of Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, which continues Senua's story with grace, confidence, surprising brutality and utter conviction.
Games Asylum: "There’s a demand on the digital services for inexpensive games; something cheap and cheerful to brighten a dull afternoon that could potentially be bought with leftover credit. With both limited budget and resources in mind, it pays for the developers of these smaller titles (Musashi vs Cthulhu costs just over £4, incidentally) to keep things simple and focused. There’s joy to be had in simplicity if it’s done well, and it’s up to developers to capitalise on this. Nobody expects a colossal, cinematic, RPG for under a fiver. Something simple that’s refined and fun to play? An entirely reasonable expectation to have. Problem is, low budget games can feel…low budget."
VGC writes: "It would have been passable as a launch game, but in the middle of the generation, Hellblade 2 isn’t the sequel we’d hoped for."
I know there probably talking about 1st party but in general
No lol, ff7 rebirth is the best thing coming out this year that we know of. Silent hill 2 remake is probably gonna be better then xboxs offerings. Also take into account all the jrpgs coming put that xbox probably won't get.
I'm also sure sonys got a surprise or two up it's sleeve, as well as xbox.
Hasn’t been true in the last 11 years so I don’t know why this year would be any different, In fact,
They are not exclusives since they are also coming to PC. And the time that most people only have a console at home and not also a gaming pc are over. At least here in Europe its pretty standard. Looking forward to play (watch) Hellblade II when its out.
I feel like this happens every year, from how MS is going to dominate, smoke Sony, sell more systems, GP subs going to skyrocket or something along those lines.
