Same this year will be amazing on PC with Hellblade 2 and Avowed too
I am happy that sony is a third party now releasing games on multiple platforms same as microsoft

Vengeance1138146d ago (Edited 146d ago )

Not even close to the same thing but ok.
Do you see Sony games on Switch or Xbox? Didn't think so.
Meanwhile good chance MS ports the next Halo to PS.

First-Party PlayStation Game MLB The Show 21 Launching on Xbox Game Pass
https://gamerant.com/mlb-th...

Death stranding was on Xbox game pass?

Vengeance1138146d ago

Lmao of course you choose the examples that are literally outside Sony's control.
Try again.
No, Sony did not make the choice to port those games to Xbox.

JackBNimble146d ago

Well I guess these aren't "exclusive " anymore aren't they at least according to the psfanboys.

Christopher146d ago (Edited 146d ago )

Nope. Looks like Sony is doing Year 2 PC ports so far. So, timed exclusivity. Not sure what psfanboys has to do with this understanding of what an exclusive is or isn't.

Yes, a first-party Sony studio putting their game on a PC...The reach here is funny...

Yui_Suzumiya146d ago

I'm kind of surprised that The Last of Us: Part II Remastered wasn't announced with a PC port as well. Only a matter of time.

ocelot07146d ago

Most likely a 2025 release I imagine.

RaidenBlack145d ago

It'll come ... most likely they avoided the simultaneous announcement Sony did for the Part 1 Remake.
Guessing a 6-8 months gap between the versions.

raWfodog146d ago (Edited 146d ago )

Great game, I’m playing through it right now. I love exploring the game world. About to do the last story mission then onto Burning Shores. I wish more devs had characters, creatures, and a game world as detailed as this.

Brazz146d ago (Edited 146d ago )

Yup. Launching games on PC 2-3 years after OG. PS launching, makes sense.

ocelot07146d ago

Exactly I imagine god of war Ragnarok for 2025 and Spiderman 2 in late 2025 or mid 2026.

TheColbertinator146d ago

I'm down to see Ragnarok on Steam by then.

RaidenBlack146d ago

well, Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine are already on PC
:P

I guess I don't need to buy a PS5 this gen, I can just wait for the PC release.

ocelot07146d ago

Depends on the games. But at a stretch nope you don't need a ps5 just a half decent pc and a bit of patience.

EvertonFC145d ago (Edited 145d ago )

Gamers who come onto gaming sites regularly don't wait 2 years to play a game, you must be a RARE PC casual.

FinalFantasyFanatic145d ago (Edited 145d ago )

@EvertonFC,
Yeah, nah, I've got backlog of over 1000 games on Steam as it is, who knows how much it is when I factor in GOG, Epic and other store front purchases. I'll probably never be able to play all those games in my life time. Then there's all the games on the Switch and 3DS I haven't finished, then I've got over 300 games on the PS4.

I think I'm as far from "RARE PC casual" as you can get mate.

@ocelot07,
That's fine with me (my PC trades blows with the PS5), there's also plenty to play as it is, so I think I can wait a couple of years for those 5 or so PS exclusives.

FinalFantasyFanatic142d ago

@EvertonFC,

Once again, you need to grow up, I did not expect this behaviour from you:

There's no reason I should have to buy a PS5 just to play the 5 exclusives I may/may not be interested in on release day.
