We have all the latest consoles... I'm getting the itch to build again. Last time I built one from scratch was 2010. I gave it to my son who still uses it for team fortress 2 and some other stuff, but he's been wanting something that can run more modern games. plus he wants to learn how it all goes together so this could be a father / son bonding moment.
