DecaPolice, a JRPG game combined with crime-solving elements, will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023, Level-5 has announced today during Nintendo Direct alongside its first teaser trailer.
Today Level-5 revealed two new trailers of its upcoming JRPG Decapolice, showing a variety of elements and some gameplay.
Level-5 hasn't missed yet for me. I still really want to see another Dark Cloud and even White Knight Chronicles, but that might be a dream at this point.
This game looks to continue the tradition of very enjoyable L5 titles. These police, I can get behind funding.
white knight chronicles was boring game to the core. First part was a surprise but because it was launch title it was missing soul. I think White Knight was also reason they went to Nintendo Consoles. Level 5 was supposed to be Squaresoft in Golden days...
They've made quite a lot of good games though, like Danball Senki, Ni No Kuni, Liberation Maiden, Yokai Watch, Layton series, Inuzuma series, ect... White Knight Chronicles seems to be their only miss-step, and maybe Snack World (Idk if anyone played that or if it even sold well, I barely remember it's existance).
I've had my eyes on this game for a while, it's looking good! Plus, I generally like most of what Level 5 puts out.
During the Level-5 Vision 2023 presentation, the developer provided another look at Decapolice with two trailers introducing story and gameplay.
Definitely on my radar.
