Looks legit but with how people like to fake stuff these days you really never know. Some people have too much time on their hands. 😆 Anyway I figured this would happen. So no Switch Pro for the Zelda TOTK release. Sorry leakers.

Nintendo will keep making Switch until the end of time. At least that’s how it feels. I’m so ready for Switch 2.

Hofstaderman517d ago

Why are people still harping on about a Pro Switch? The current model is selling by the bucketload and Tears of the Kingdom was developed for the current switch specs. Same applies to the PS5 and XBOX, stock availability is only now starting to normalise together with uniformed production processes. I can understand the sentiment with the Switch, it been a while since it’s release but with the other consoles this generation hasn’t even kicked off properly.

Well, sales are definitely on a downward trend (though still healthy) and its going to be 6 years for the Switch this March.
If the next switch doesnt come out in 2023, then it’s practically a guarantee for 2024

So are IPhones, still selling more than any other phone. Nintendo has no incentive when the Switch is selling by the millions on a weekly basis during the holiday season.

With the chip shortage, it would be advantageous for Nintendo to keep the old console until supply catches up. Why limited the amount of consoles by making a Switch 2 at the moment?

Just because the switch is selling doesn't mean it's not time for a new console. It's extremely outdated at this point.

"Just because the Switch is selling doesn't mean it's not time for a new console"

That's exactly what it means. Software sales are at some of their highest and hardware sales have only seen a moderate decline. You don't launch a successor until after you see a larger decline in both hardware and software. Otherwise you're cannibalizing your own product.

To be fair the Switch was outdated the day it came out.

Switch is gonna continue to sell because it's the only portable on the market. 3ds people had to go somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if more then half of switch sales went to portable gamers. I've heard of 2 3 4 switches in the same household. Thats 3ds

TicklefistCP517d ago (Edited 517d ago )

Because I play games, not the stock market. Games play and/or look like shit on the switch.

hiawa23517d ago

But, the Nintendo games seems to run fine on it.

RaiderNation517d ago (Edited 517d ago )

Theyre harping about it because they want it. Who cares if the Switch is still selling well. That has nothing to do with the desire for a better performing model. The fact that its still selling is of NO consolation to me the gamer when my frames dip while playing. Thats just straight corporate cap!

CrimsonWing69517d ago

Quite simply the same reason people harp for ANY next-gen system..

shinoff2183517d ago

I've been trying to say that. Why not release new games on old Gen when new consoles are just now becoming more available

It's either legit or someone put a lot of effort into it, it's committing to the vibe of the game

coolbeans517d ago

Seriously. That looks insanely good.
