Assassin's Creed Mirage Priced at $49.99, Collector's Edition Contents and Pre-Order Bonus Revealed

Assassin's Creed Mirage is priced at $49.99 for all versions instead of $59.99 for most AAA games. Collector's Edition and pre-order bonuses revealed.

RaidenBlack638d ago

LOL. Pre-order and collector's edition without showing a bit of gameplay?
smh

SDuck637d ago

what's the surprise? Not unusual for Ubisoft to pull this kinda shit

AmUnRa637d ago (Edited 637d ago )

And the game will be filled with ingame purchases, aka lootboxes in disquise....

DreadfulHero636d ago (Edited 636d ago )

It's not a lootbox if you know exactly what you're paying for. As far as AC games go, you always know. Lootbox means you're gambling because you don't know what you're paying for. You see cosmetic skins in AC, you know exactly what you're going to get. I'm not saying they shouldn't have better business practices, because they absolutely should. But people act like they can't complete an AC game without paying additional money, and that's absolutely not true. Nearly everything is cosmetic, you don't have to pay for anything extra to play and beat the game, and you always know what you're getting if you decide to buy anything extra.

Me? I enjoyed riding around on my polar bear with my cool Asgardian cloak in Valhalla for no additional cost to me whatsoever. There are still ways to get cool stuff in the game without paying anything for it.

Guess it's just a smaller game like rogue then. They're probably going to just use this game to test the waters for classic AC I guess. This'll also mean the game will be lower budget....but in time we'll see I guess. Terrible showcase lol. Ubi being Ubi.

Christopher638d ago

Or they could go the route of expansions within the game like they did with Dawn of Ragnarok.

Germaximus638d ago

Rogue happens to be the best of the older styled AC games.

TheColbertinator637d ago

I agree. Rogue was much better than I hoped

MajorLazer637d ago

Yeah Rogue was very, very fun. Black Flag and Brotherhood are my two personal favourites.

TheKingKratos638d ago

If it any where near BlackFlag or Rogue or AC3 ... Then that is 10 times better than what i hopped it to be.

senorfartcushion638d ago

This is only so the next game can be the same size and $20 more, which may be bad considering that Infinite is coming out and all the later AC games will be accessible from there.

Demetrius638d ago

We all will see smh lately ubisoft has been appreciative of the hot garbage they been on lately smh

XxINFERNUSxX638d ago (Edited 638d ago )

Even though I'm not interested $49.99 is pretty reasonable.
