Announced hours after Sony made their announcement. I wonder what, if anyting this means for the price of the PSVR2?

Eidolon677d ago

Just glad I got mine earlier this year at Gamestop with trade credit for 299, was the latest revision. It's gotten so much use. I'm def ready for the PSVR2, going to pre-order for sure.

Meta must be allergic to good publicity.

Quest 3 will be out soon as well

Eonjay676d ago

There a wild theory that the Quest 3 will debut at $499 and that this was intended to mask the sticker shock.

I'm trying not to be but I'm still bitter after they started selling the Rift S in 2019 and then announced it was being discontinued in 2020/2021. Of course I bought it before the announcement. I have not been super happy with these guys...

MehmetAlperTR677d ago (Edited 677d ago )

I was going to buy.. But now, i ll not buy it...

darthv72677d ago

you can still get the 128gb for 299. They havent upped the price just yet. You still have a week to get it for less.

Eonjay677d ago

About 5 days left. I feel bad for folks who Mike not have 300 to throw at this until after the fact tho.

Fishy Fingers677d ago

I was going to buy now im not going to buy before they raise the price :/

ABizzel1677d ago

I had to make sure I was reading this right and that the price was going up.

MetroidFREAK21677d ago

And with that, I will NOT be buying into this ecosystem now

It is a rare move to increase the price of existing product, for such an old product as well.
