More remasters inbound fingers crossed for a rdr and GTA IV remaster as those games could benifit greatly from extra horsepower or current gen or possibly a 60fps rdr2 patch

Considering the GTA Trilogy was like easy money considering it 'significantly exceeded expectations' Take Two would be wise to crank out a GTA IV remaster. The assets are already in HD so to get it running in 4k or 60fps is relatively easy and I for one would like to go back to Liberty City to revisit Nico Bellic.

I'd buy a GTA 4 remaster; being the PC port is a dumpster fire to this day, and the Xbox version is still muddy.

Red Dead Redemption is all but confirmed. Haven't heard anything about GTA 4 though.

Has there been anything more concrete said about RDR1?

MadLad735d ago

@venom

I have nothing I can link you to, but I can say with 100% certainty it is being worked on, and there will also be a PC release. Expect to hear something within the next 6 months, though that 6 months is very long term. You should be hearing something official before then.

Interesting. Very interesting.

I've heard random rumours about GTA IV because the trilogy swapped out the next stop Miami picture with what looked by some to be modern liberty city from GTA IV. Among some other "leaks" nothing overall concrete obviously.

But yeah GTA IV for Xbox is pretty blurry even in backwards compatibility at least on the Xbox one for me.

PC looks really nice cranked up all the way and the game has aged really well there but it's impossible to beat because of the way they built it.

When you get quick time events like spam the space bar to climb aboard the heroin truck in Alderney or climb aboard the helicopter in the pegarino chase how rapidly you have to press that button is tied directly to the CPU cores and speed so it's not possible to pass this unless you go into windows and restrict the game to using only one CPU core through task manager CPU affinity and then go back to the game beat that qte and disable it.

As for PlayStation players it's locked to the PS3 so bit much you can do there.

Rdr makes sense it's coming and looked to be remade using rdr2 files given jacks voice from when he's and adult has been found in game with no reason why it would be there and they included a playable Mexico for no reason. Among many other leaks and rumours

"Director's Cut" remasters of Manhunt 1 & 2 please!

XboxSwitchPS5Gamer734d ago

I really want Manhunt 1 and 2 remastered so much. I enjoyed Manhunt 1 on PS2 and 2 on Wii. :)

GTA IV is thought of as the black sheep of the GTA games by Rockstar. I’d be surprised if we got a remaster.

Good. I hope they ramp up their ambitions and make a bigger game with better gameplay and combat.
