New Halo Infinite E3 2021 Artwork

Halo Infinite will get a major showcase at E3 2021. It was teased by Microsoft in their announcement for the Xbox showcase at E3 and now the full artwork is available.

The time is right. Strike now, or I don't even know what to say anymore about MS. The July 2020 showcase was supposed to be their moment, and they completely dropped the ball after giving every indication the show would be spectacular. I'm expecting nothing but gameplay from a decent variety of games.....no more of this cinematic "in engine" nonsense. Please.

Personally I would like to see Forza gameplay, Starfield, Halo of course, and maybe something from Everwild finally? If they show more I would feel great about it but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore....

MS will wow us eventually, but not with Halo Infinite. Not from a graphics standpoint anyway. The game is still targeting 60fps in an open world on last gen consoles. There's only so much they can achieve with those constraints. Keep your expectations in check, people!

Didn’t they confirm that there is no upgradable equipment and crafting? To be honest for a game that’s been in development for this many years it’s amateur that they didn’t come up with an in-depth system for their signature franchise.

They're were but scraped it, they had too much other things to deal with. They had to create an entirely new engine, and open world, deep story that's supposed to last 10 years, a content filled MP and make the game cross gen and super polished with top notch graphics. A weapon upgrade system would've been nice but if you couldnt do it at a high level then don't do it at all. Cause a cheesy upgrade mechanic will only lower reviews

Not really you see how long R* took with RDR2 and it didn't even launch with MP. Halo isn't a game with just 12-24 hours worth of content. Like most linear, cinematic games.

The last load of Infinite footage was behind Halo 4 on Xbox One visually and not anywhere near even Halo 5 on Xbox One, let alone X, running Halo 5 at 4K 120FPS isn't an impressive feat whatsover.

BTW yes PS5 can do 4K 120FPS, in games a lot more impressive than Halo 5.

Halo 5 cutscenes were insane. Even today they look great. Halo 5's in-game visuals were another matter. Infinite should have no problems beating that.

I hope they show good games this E3. I think I might pick up an Xbox, but only if they show some really interesting games. Starfield sounds cool. I don't know much about this Halo and I really haven't played them since the original one, except a bit here and there. FPS really make me sick so it is hit or miss. If they show some good games I'll definitely add getting a X along with a PS5. I want to build a solid entertainment experience for this generation so getting both is probably essential, depending.

MS better ensure that what they present about Halo is certified to be gameplay running on an Xbox Series X and that it is better than the abomination they presented last year because if not, then is time to bring new management to that project.
