Aron Greenberg shares official Series X and S packaging.

This obviously confirms the final design for the Series X packaging as well. Noticeably the box for the Series X is also larger than the packaging for the smallest ever Xbox.

I love how the Series X box looks. Just 1 more week until preorders.

bouzebbal1357d ago

What games are you getting with it day one?

Buying a new hardware for crossgen titles? Line up is really weak.

TranceHop 1357d ago (Edited 1357d ago )

@bouzebbal Gears Tactics, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Good luck getting a PS5 at launch

DiRtY1357d ago

For me:

Gears Tactics
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Grounded (Have yet to play this)

As soon as they release in 2020:

The Medium
Call of The Sea

Later than that:

Fable
Halo Infinite
State of Decay 3
Avowed
Everwild

So no fans of the game Scorn? Is it still a launch game?

"If a game is good and fun to play shouldn't that be all that matters?"

That literally argues against new hardware if all it does is improve the look of a title.

"Using your logic there is no need to buy new graphics cards either, I mean all they do is improve the look of games."

I am not sure what that has to do with the price of tea in China. I have not been screaming about new graphics cards and the idea they are a must buy. Instead I have remarked that hardware companies need to do something else besides throw horsepower at the next generation equation. If all you are doing is increasing resolution, frame rate, and adding some effects like RT that does not in my book warrant the tag "next generation". There has to be a way to step sideways, think in a multilateral fashion as to how they can change the gaming paradigm to offer a wholly new experience. It is why I applaud Sony for the new controller and their SSD and I/O technology to change the manner in which we experience a game world. Yes to some degree the way a game looks is without doubt a part of the experience but the resolution of a title usually isn't what stays with us months and even years later.

only reason i'm excited for the xbox series release is because assassins creed will release on pc then. I'll have to wait for reviews and gameplay videos before i make a purchase on AC though.

edit: It just occurred to me while playing ni no kuni 2 that AC Valhalla is alot like it. Basically you build a kingdom and are the ruler. check. You go on raids. (skirmishes in ni no kuni). Check. It's a rpg. Check. Action combat. Check. Basically ni no kuni 2 is the anime version of AC Valhalla.

gold_drake1357d ago

ur excited for the new xbox because a game will be on PC? im confused.

phoenixwing1357d ago

If xbox wasn't releasing ac wouldn't release so early

xagiye65031356d ago

I get paid over $90 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I've been doing,

***If xbox wasn't releasing ac wouldn't release so early***

AC Valhalla has been a Holiday 2020 release title since it was announced. It's a cross generation game, so it wouldn't be held back by there being no new gen hardware. And it would go to PC regardless.

I still just cant get over how small these machines are (compared to the controllers).

I am still a bit concerned that some of my longer gaming sessions would ramp those internal temps pretty quick, but I guess tbd
