Looks like they are trying to cater to everyone. Kids should love this game

Rocosaurus1392d ago

I am 37 and I love this game.

TheCleverPotato1391d ago

I'm 40, and right there with you buddy! It's fun!

RangerWalk2671391d ago

39yrs old and I'm having a blast playing with my 19yr old son. Gotta love the "non one and done" games.

cesar41392d ago

Anyone can play it and have fun, true. But I’m pretty sure the target audience is parents with credit cards.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH1391d ago

And I’m pretty sure you’re wrong. What is that like a bread and butter type comment people make when they have no idea what they are talking about?

GlutenMifflin1392d ago

I've learned that age has little bearing on gaming depending on the genre. If the game is fun who cares how old you are?!

Minute Man 7211392d ago

Never said it's aimed @ kids but what demographic will play this the most?

"Looks like they are trying to cater to everyone"

In my comment above

Dissidia1392d ago (Edited 1392d ago )

You may not have said it, but the basis of your comment implies as much.

"Looks like they are trying to cater to everyone" Followed by who you believe will play it most (kids)

Instead of saying it looks like a fun game anyone can pick up and enjoy.

No big deal either way.

GamerRN1391d ago

Backhanded compliment. The message is received don't play dumb

King_Noctis1391d ago

Yeah and kids should love those gigantic spiders as well.

TheCleverPotato1391d ago

I'll tell you this much. I was running like a scarred little (boy or girl) the first time I got chased by a giant spider. It's guaranteed death.

TheCleverPotato1391d ago

Nothing wrong with that, is there? I love to find games that I can enjoy with both my 14 year daughter and my, 40-sonething gaming buddies. It's hard to find a universally good multiplayer game.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH1391d ago

It’s actually not a very easy game early on. Those spiders and lady bugs will one shot you and at nite if you don’t have a torch you’re screwed. I’m enjoying it so far

ive been playing it since yesterday and overall its a pretty good game. had plenty of fun just exploring. im not really into survival games so it did start to get a little tedious after a couple of hours. kinda small map. not a lot of variety in bugs. still this looks really promising. hope they keep adding content and will definitely keep coming back to it.

TheCleverPotato1391d ago

Just looking forward to the rest of the game being unlocked and for future DLC. It has a lot of potential for all that.

Tedakin1391d ago

Didn't think I'd like this at all, but it's pretty good with friends. Very pretty to look at. Definitely captures a sense of wonder.

GlutenMifflin1391d ago

I am looking forward to trying the multiplayer with this. I am hoping for a "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" feel.

Finding the alien ship and the technology in it was amazing.

Never read an article that begins with "fan boys", it's a waste of time.
