...a no buy for some PS3 fans now. With the economy kicking my buttcheeks as of late I've decided to ONLY buy exclusives for 360 and PS3. Multiplatform games nowadays are RENT or BORROW ONLY "for me" when they aren't designed properly, supported, or developed to be identical on all platforms. It's just too expensive to justify purchasing what I'd consider a half assed product.

I expect exclusive titles to be the AAA products and appreciate it when the actual games meet my expectations. Maybe later when the economy turns back around I can go back to buying multiplatform titles but for now it's a no go.

PS3 fanboys need to stop crying over this and enjoy the game. The minute you guys boycott and stop purchasing a game because it looks worse than the others is when the support will STOP!

...while I understand your logic in part I'd don't think buying more bad games is the answer. These developers have to prove their mettle first and then maybe people will consider buying more of their titles. Companies are looking at the bottom line which is money in the bank.

I think if developers continue to lose gobs of money on their mulitiplatform titles on a particular platform they wont just stop making games for that platform. From a business prospective they've already invested money in developing the title for the platform and have already lost some money.

So it usually comes down to do they want to spend the money on the front end to create a quality product to break even/make a profit or are they willing to lose money on both ends by not properly backing a project.

But that's the thing Himdeel, is these games aren't that bad. The only thing that's affects these games are the people who want to get in p!ssing contests with the other console whether it's better on PS3 or Xbox 360. Developers have already shown that they are capable of doing a good port and doing a bad one.

It comes down to scheduling and what people don't understand is that these devs have a deadline. If they delay the PS3 port because they want to optimize more, then people will cry more. It's a lose, lose cycle, so it all basically boils down to user support.

True they will follow the money, and if you know a particular platform is your true golden goose, you will get that extra time, set better deadlines, and make sure that you can maximize your profits with you're money maker, in this case console-wise, it's the 360.

Think about it, if the game was exclusive, would this issue stop you from buying the game if you didn't know about it? It doesn't take away from the gameplay, it'll just bother the graphic wh*res who need every single game to be realistic and perfect.........fun doesn't matter anymore.

I think it is a reviewers responsiblity to let the public know the truth, but in many cases (including this one) I wonder what the "powers that be" are behind changes in stance? Considering Oblivion ran smoother on PS3 when it finally was released this turn of events doesn't sound like fair game, and maybe Microsoft actually got more than just exclusive DLC from Bethesda on this one.

And for the group of posters futher down preaching about supporting a game when it's obvious the company doesn't care. Look Bethesda can release a couple free themes for the PSN and make it seem they are committed to releasing a quality PS3 product, but coming from Oblivion to this if the actual game quality improves on every platform except one then they can count me out when it's only that one platform that matters to me.

EDIT. Diamond Wolf, thanks for the feedback. To me it's the principal of the whole thing. Obviously the guy noticed it, so regardless of how he tries to smooth it out and explain to make it no big deal it can't happen now. It sucks that performance for Bethesda on the PS3 got worse while the other platforms got better. I'm sure the game is still playable on PS3, but there's also a bunch of other games that are too. If I owned a 360 I would definetely pick this one up because it's clear Bethesda is catering to PC and 360 for Fallout 3.

Me personally I will voice my opinion to Bethesda, but I will also day 1 PS3 this game. I love the Fallout universe, and if the game sucks, then it's not going to be because the 360 is "slightly" better, it's going to be because a) The gameplay reeks or b) They destroyed my beautiful vision of the fallout series spawned from Fallout, F2 and Fallout Tactics (Brotherhood of Steel sucked :/ )

I guess I just don't get it, I mean when I played Goldeneye64 when it came out, I was still immersed in that world when the graphics were ooogly.

To me a horrible port is Madden 08, it ran super slow and was practically unplayable

You know why the PS3 version was a little better, first off it was being a little rushed to get it to be a launch title for the 360, secondly they had almost a year and a half to port it over to the ps3. I already played Fallout 3 on the 360. I don't think this should stop PS3 gamers to buy the game. And if there are any differences at all, they are probably minimal like most other ports.

One of the biggest contenders for GOTY... and with exclusive content on the Xbox 360, I think there's little doubt now as of which version to get.

What this article says is that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 has lower resolution textures ("muddier"), has framerate problems and noticeable jaggies.

While this doesn't mean that the PS3 version "Sucks" it does mean that its lower graphical quality is noticeable enough to point it out in a Playstation Magazine (And dedicate an article afterwards)

From all the disadvantages mentioned in the article, I think the framerate problems is the most worrying. That's what kept me from enjoying Oblivion on the Xbox 360.

Now with a solid framerate, great graphics / gameplay and disc installation, we'll have no problems enjoying this great title.

The ps3 has already proven it can sell software, users of the ps3 have also proven that they are far less inclined to buy an inferior port either out of pride or because they are dual console owners. Software developers i'm sure have picked up on this trend so its to their financial benefit for the games to be on par. Install base is only taken into account i believe if a console has yet to sell 10 mil or what ever the critical point is, the ps3 has long since passed that. What i'm saying is developers will develop in whatever order that brings them more profit. If thats the only way to have to ps3 version looking up to snuff and the porting it to the 360 then so be it. I have read its easier to port from the ps3 anyway

With competition so rough this fall and the economy the way it is, you think the companies would try to win you over. Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 come out the following week and they take much more priority over a lackluster port.

You can blame the devs all you want, or you can pull your fanboy head out of your a** and realize that the Cell is great multipurpose chip, but not the best gaming chip. I own all three systems, and I'm happy to say that I'll be getting the better version...the 360 version. I love my PS3, it's a sexy, sexy machine, but devs can't always be blamed. You have no idea how much work goes into a AAA game. The only reason oblivion looked debatably better is because they had an extra year to develop it. Its not the developers fault the PS3 is having problems the cell has to slow down to get the code to work. The cell is like getting a mathematician to do basic adding which will slow him down and annoy him. Give him a complicated equation and watch him go.

That is what I want to know. Bioshock looked slightly worse than the 360 version running in 1080p but my opinion changed after running in 720p and after 2K confirmed a patch for the Big Daddy textures. Why not throw some comparison screenshots to prove your statement? Why not throw in a video or two to validate your claims that the PS3 has inferior frame rates when you claimed in your article that the 360 might have the same issue but you haven't played those levels yet? Why mention it in comparison if you haven't compared it visually yet?

Sony doesnt require developers to include trophies, were as MS require that each game has achievements. At the same time, if Bethseda was putting in 360 achievements how hard would it be to copy those same ones and add it to the PS3 version?? That is lazy.

Fallout 3 didn't ultilize the Blu-ray in the PS3 that's for sure, because if it did the 360 version would have been on 3 or more discs.

3rd party developers aren't taking advantage of the PS3's capabilities. It's really a shame that there's so much potential waiting for them to use just wasting away and it's Sony 1st party studios that are taking advantage of it.

Kojima Productions and Digi-Guys are really the only 3rd party developers that are really pushing and are fully exploiting the PS3...SquareEnix is also pushing the PS3 with FFXIII, but those are really the only 3rd party devs. that I think are truly optimizing games for the PS3.

I think graphic comparison would be better determined if both Sony and Microsoft made a chart of all their games they make both exclusive and multiplatform and made and (honest) estimate of how much percentage of power of the console each game uses.

They may have been "top of their class" but when in the real world they become lazy. Simply put, Company X hires devs to make a game for the XBox 360/PS3. The devs, most of which have experience with nothing but C, C+, C#, and VB of some sort and are generally trained on Microsoft products on x86 based PCs. Microsoft supplies familiar DirectX tools for the XBox 360 where the devs can just grab chunks of code and plug it in with some modifications to get exactly what they want. Now they are asked to do the PS3 port. They need to learn a new architecture and its' nuances. Even though the new architecture, the Cell, is superior to the x86 they need to make a deadline. So they shovel out a sub standard version for the PS3. Whereas if taken the initial time to develop on the PS3 and THEN port over to the XBox 360 both versions would be stellar.

That's what he may have been insinuating but in doing made a valid point. Due to the huge corporate pressures game developers, unless first party, are forced to get "Whizbang 2009 product" out the door before the competition in order to maximize profit. The Xbox 360 having a nearly identical architecture to a standard x86 based PC is usually but not rightfully the lead platform in development. What this causes in most cases is a pretty good XBox 360 game and a good but not as good port on the PS3. When devs. rehash exsting code from a PC game, in this case Fallout 3, to a XBox 360 the port comes over fairly well due to the architecture similarities.

IF, notice I stressed IF, devs went with the PS3 as the lead platform and optimized the engine for the cell, a lot of those optimization can then be carried over to the XBox 360 version as well, making both games excellent versions. Case in point: Burnout Paradise. This is how devs. SHOULD do games. But unfortunately due to the cut throat style of business video games are this won't happen all too often.

Bethesda, for all intents and purposes, would be theoritcally pressuposed towards the overall production of their unique gaming vision; as such, normative issues like graphical quality, player intergration, etc. should rightfully be taken into account. Bearing that in mind, one could justly attest Fallout's consoloe related shortcomings as evidence to Bethesda's own laze or languor. Such an argument, however, can only be made on the basis of said company's moral obligations to the consumer.

Of course, Bethesda maintains several ulterior company objectives- as do all profit-oriented companies - in addition to their consumer obligations discussed above. They have 1) an objective to expand their company market share, if only for the mere sake of long-term survival. They have 2) an objective to preserve stability with regards to their acquired status (fanbase), external support (i.e. Microsoft, Sony), and overall philosophy of gaming.

Notice, either objective contradicts one another; the first principle, for instance, requires continual innovation, while the second implies greater symapthy for the status quo (provided the status quo is good).

This industrial paradox therein lies the basis for Microsoft's success, and steady acquisition of various third party support, formerly unavialble to them in the past. It also justifies Bethesda's actions while placing the blame solely on SCE's doorsteps.

The logic behind this rationalle is quite sound. Bethesda is directed not only by consumer obligations, but the need to expand, and also preserve that expansion.

With regards to the "preseveration" of status quo (already acquired market share), a company must locate and obtain sufficient infrastructure from external sources, so if only to butress their later expansion. The reason being for this is that no company ever wants to be in a position where it must finance both its expansion, AND security.

Why? Simply because it reduces a company's capacity to forge a permanent stake in the market; to further eloborate,a company must eventually manage to create interdependence among a host of networks, so that its survial is not only important within their organization, but others as well. Thus the finalcial demise of Bungie, for example, would also concern Microsoft. This frame of reference indicates the "cycle of business schemes", which does not change.

To illustrate, most game companies- in their initial stages of development- are likely to cater to the hardcore, thereby amassing a cult, or dedicated fanbase in the process. This provides whatever company (say, Bethesda) with the neccesary security to fund tehir further expansion. Now, let us move forward to the second aspect of external support; for the gaming industry, in particular, developers are especuially beholden to the MANUFACTURERS of certain gaming devices. This means both Sony and Microsoft offer a potential backbone for certain developers to rely on, and thus survive in the LONG-TERM.

AS many have stated before me, PS3 does not boast an impressive consumer base, nor does it offer adequate third party support. Therefore, Sony at large cannot rationally be judged as a reliable security blanket because their interests lie primarily elsewhere. In other words, if Bethesda continually has to fund both its expansion, and security , it will then utilmately have to seek a less costly means of existence. Namely better external support, with regards to console manufacturers.

Microsoft's increasingly consistent dedication towards third party support, for example, frees up one of Bethesda's three company objectives (consumer oblig, expansion, security). It additionally caters to their objective for expansion, since Xbox has consitently demonstrated high attachment rates. Lastly, it has yet to be proven that there is more than an avergae amount of PS3 users interested in Bethesda's type of product.

If one considers the points made above, it should become immediately clear why Fallout 3's lack of "graphical equilibrium" across console lines does neccesarily translate to just Bethesda's shortcomings. In effectm, they are doing exactly what's in their company objectives, without adopting risks that might damage overall security with 1) their fanbase and 2) Microsoft, who have been a trustworthy ally in the past. Sony needs to work harder, and offer more third party security incetives, if it is to furnish better thrid party support.

Of course, Sony's lack of concern may be warranted, depending on the success of LBP. That will spell the potential success (or failure) of PS3, for years to come. Not Fallout.

I own two 360's and a ps3. I will be getting this game for the 360. Why, cause it was developed better for the 360. Next, the 360's version of this game is only moderately better then the ps3's even though it was developed for it. When Killzone 2 comes out, everyone with a ps3 will see what the ps3 can pump out when developed for it. All the fanboy xbots are in denial right now, cause the game isn't out. Read all the previews of the game people, Killzone 2 is going to own and destroy anything out on any console right now, including Gears 2 and this outstanding game called Fallout. Please do tell on why Achievements are greater than Trophies. They are essentially the same thing. Achievements give you an arbitrary number that really tells you nothing of skill level. Whereas trophies tell you straight away how dedicated someone is to their game. A platinum trophy means you were determined to master the game. Sure you could look through someones gamer score to find out which achievements they got, but that would be tedious. But like I said, there isn't a huge difference in the two. Especially since the task is the same across both systems.

They said the PS3 version was excellent but if you want to run up and inspect the concrete textures, if that's what matters to you, than the 360 version has a slight advantage. Personally, I don't trust my 360 after 3 dead units so I'll buy this game on the PS3. I know I'll actually be able to play it on that platform instead of having another graphically intensive game putting my 360 over the rrod edge after 1 1/2 hours. I'm not the type to run up to a concrete slab and sit with a print off of a screen shot of another console's version in hand so I can say "Ah ha! If you squint just so this version is slightly better." I'll take the version that runs on reliable hardware - thanks very much.

From this article, it seems like a perfect analogy would be that it's like you have three of the same car and at one end it's just washed and at the other it's waxed and the wheels polished. PCs will always have better optimum performance than consoles, however, not every PC can run these new games at the optimum settings which is why consoles have an advantage over PCs in this point. Actually, PC version runs rings around the PS3 and 360 versions, much better textures and much higher framerates, while the PS3 and 360 versions are comparable save for a few negligible differences that didn't really warrant a mention (much like Far Cry 2 platform differences where the PC version had much higher framerates and much higher textures while the console versions were comparable). Which is why I'm buying it on the PC, but if you have to get a console version, PS3 or 360 versions will do you no wrong whichever you get.

I don't see what the problem is. The game isn't broken. A reviewer feels that small details in the 360 version look better than the PS3 version. So, what? They are still nearly identical and play the same. And its one person's opinion. Reviewer B may think the exact opposite. And the PC version is better than both anyway.

Some people want so much for their console of choice to be the best, that they will bypass a great game just because the other console's version is (arguably) slightly better.

Some of you can boycott all you want, but all you're doing is hurting the chances of the next game being on your console. At least play the game first, jeez.

You people kill me. You live in a world where people want to succeed and be profitable. Nothing drives people to be better more than competition and every single company wants to get an edge over the other. Microsoft is a very very very smart business. They provide proven tools to their developers so they can build platforms and easily move in between systems such as the PC and the 360. Sony comes along and introduces a completely new architecture that has never been used in gaming and everyone wonders why it isn't doing better. (IE Atari Jaguar) Sony didn't provide solid development tools and everyone is asking why. You can spin this all you want, but Sony screwed themselves on this by doing the following:
1. Built and architecture at the last minute that had not been proven in any gaming enviornment. (Computers and developments are an evolution not a revolution. Each new technology is built to solve a new problem, but it doesn't change the problem itself but instead finds a way to do it better.) Sony put a new architecture out that didn't need to come out. Why did they introduce something that hadn't been tested. That is a foolish business move and one that sinks many companies.
2. Didn't provide decent development tools for those making the games.
3. Is selling the PS3 way below cost and still having problems getting it sold. (Yes console makers typically sell the consoles below cost, but Sony is rapping themselves)

Things like rhis should be expected by now, 360 has been king of multiplatform for 2yrs now, and it's not getting any better for the PS3. Now the 360 has the best online, multiplatform, dlc, graphics (Alan Wake) exclusive GTAIV episodes, Exclusive Fallout 3 DLC, and price. It's a one sided victory, it's like wathing a football game when your team is up 60pts and the other team has 3, and it's not even halftime yet.

Yes it's great that the game is released for the PS3 at the same time as it is on other formats however, at what cost?

The perception out there is that the PS3 is still an inferior gaming platform overall. This can only hurt Sony in terms of sales of both PS3 units and software sales of Fallout 3.

I for one will no longer buy Fallout 3 when its released but will wait until I can pick it second hand at a lower price. now, if maybe the price of the PS3 version reflected its slight inferior quality then maybe I could be tempted to buy it when its released.

I really don't care if it looks slightly better on 360, I'm not one for sticking my face up against the TV and checking out the concrete textures.

It's not a problem that the 360 may look slightly better, it may well have been the lead platform. I'm a dev and it's true that the 360 is a little more comfortable to develop for.

However, I'm happy in the knowledge that my PS3 is a nice piece of kit over the 360 in many other ways... I'm not inspecting a concrete texture.

None of this makes the game any less enjoyable. So I'm gonna enjoy it safe in the knowledge that my hardware won't break while I play.

the only opinion that matters to me is my own, and it doesn't matter to me or not if the gaming media agrees with that opinion, as long as i'm a happy customer.

Fallout 3 is delivering in SPADES on the gameplay department, apparently, so a few minor differences in visuals mean nothing. of course, i can't comment 100% on the gameplay until i get my hands on it later.

When they signed the contract for DLC exclusive to MS, it was in there that they had to give the 360 a noticeable graphical edge over the ps3 version or at least not make the ps3 version better - I know it sounds far fetched, but this is a very real possibility. Bethesda simply put less time into optimizing the PS3 version, and it shows. This is the dirty business MS does now days. You can bet Tomb Raider will be the same way.

Sony need to accept that not all developers are happy with the PS3 architecture, MS supplied fantastic Xbox-360 dev tools, the Sony PS3 does not, therefore the PS3 will always cost more to develop for, if MS can foot the main dev bill then so can Sony.

This doesn't surprise me. I have spent a lot of time comparing multi-platform games and 9 times out of 10 the 360 versions are superior. It's not because developers are lazy and it's completely ignorant for anyone to say that. Game developers are some of the hardest working people in any industry. It's not like any developer want their game to look bad on the PS3.

The problem is, guys, that THE PS3 IS NOT VERY OPTIMALLY DESIGNED FOR RUNNING ACTUAL GAME CODE! I don't know how many developers have told us this, but some of you want to go on believing that the PS3 is some kind of technological beast that will one day surpass the 360. The fact is, most multi-platform games look and run better on the 360 because the 360 is, in fact, more powerful in most ways that matter.

The theoretical performance of the Cell cpu is great at streaming floating point performance but quite weak when it comes to general purpose computing (which comprises the majority of game code). The lack of adequate branch prediction really cripples the Cell when it comes to running game code. Only the PPE has branch prediction, the SPUs lack any real branch prediction, which is part of why they are not very good at general purpose code or random data access. So the one area where the PS3 has more theoretical performance (the CPU), it turns out it isn't very efficient at running game code. Great for processing high-resolution video and audio data streams, not quite so good for games.

In virtually every other area, the 360 is provably more powerful. It possesses a more powerful and flexible GPU, a CPU that is more powerful at processing general purpose game code, more memory that is arranged in a more efficient configuration, and overall more memory bandwidth and fewer bottlenecks.

I don't know how long many of you are going to go on believing that one day PS3 games will suddenly start looking worlds better than they do now. The problem is not a matter of developers "figuring out the PS3", most developers are quite familiar with the PS3. The problem is trying to figure out ways of getting equal performance from the less optimal PS3 hardware to match the output of the 360. In a recent interview, John Carmack said that he and his team were working twice as hard to try to get equal performance on the PS3 version of their game "Rage".

It's been two years now and yet people are still willing to go on playing the waiting game. "One day the PS3's power will be revealed" many people seem to be thinking. This is a stupid concept if you think about it. When the Gamecube and the original Xbox came on the scene, we didn't have to wait for their superior performance (over the PS2) to be revealed. It was there from day one. Nobody had to make excuses about those consoles coming to market later than the PS2 and getting ports of PS2 games. Even though most games were PS2 ports, they still looked better on the Xbox. Now, I know that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are much closer in performance than the PS2 and Xbox were last generation, but the same ideas apply. If the PS3 truly was more powerful than the 360, even though it is more difficult to develop for, you would expect PS3 games to look at least AS good as their 360 counterparts. You would also expect at least a few games to look unquestionably better on the PS3 than anything on the 360. But we have seen neither of those things. The best PS3 games (such as MGS4 and Uncharted) manage to look on par with some of the better looking Xbox 360 games (such as Gears of War 1 & 2 and Mass Effect), but multi-platform look better on the Xbox 360 in the majority of cases.

Sony has the very bad habit of over-hyping the technical capabilities of their hardware and under-delivering when it comes to actual performance in the real world. They did the same thing in the last console generation against the Sega Dreamcast. They convinced many gamers (and even developers) that the PS2 was vastly more powerful than the Dreamcast and that they should wait on the promise of a better system in over a year. And people fell for it, in droves. The reality was, though, that the PS2 was not significantly more powerful than the Dreamcast, as was promised. It was, in fact, a very difficult console to program for and was really only on par with the Dreamcast. It basically took the PS2 a year to actually match the quality the Dreamcast had right at launch with games like Soul Caliber. With Sony's track record I am shocked at how many people still buy into their rhetoric and hype.

I am not saying the PS3 is a bad console. I am just pointing out that Sony sold the general public on some outlandish theoretical performance numbers that will never be achievable in the real world.

The resistance developer, Insomniac mentioned that the PS3 "can take anything we throw at it." + The Nvidia CEO in 2005 said it had the equivelant power of two of their flaghship graphics cards at the time!

Why don't I write those things? Because they aren't true. I have personally compared all of those games, minus GTA4. DMC4 is very similar overall on both consoles, but there is one important difference: the PS3 uses temporal AA which creates a nasty blurring effect, while the 360 version uses 2x multisample AA which keeps things nice and clear. GTA 4 runs at a higher resolution and has 2x anti-aliasing on the 360. Oblivion on PS3 had reduced load times between areas and there was a new shader technique employed on distant objects, but many people felt that the colors were flat and that the textures were not quite as detailed as on the 360 version. You know what...I'm not going to bother going in to all of it. There are plenty of write-ups and videos on the internet comparing these four games and they have all been described as essentially being a wash between the two platforms. You basically went out of your way to find 4 games that are actually close enough in performance that there is some debate as to which version is better, but you are really stretching things by claiming that those games are better on the PS3. And you are being absolutely ridiculous when you said that those four games are "rubbish on Xbox360". That is so totally false, you only reveal what a fanatical extremist you are. Your last comment only confirms it further.

NO STORY HERE AT ALL! First up I've played a bit of both versions and to say the differences are negligable is to overstate it so i don't believe for one second that the mag has blogged cos Bethesda rang them. Besides, that isn't how it would work they'd wait 'til the next issue if they'd been cuffed like that and do it properly. Bethesda also made Oblivion look better, IMO, on PS3 so I don't think theyve deliberatley done this it's just a tiny quirk in translation from the original code and certainly not one that should prevent anyone buying the PS3 version. I prefer the PS because of a controller preference in any case so the visuals would only make me get it for another platform(even if I still had an Xbox360)if the difference was in any way damaging to the game and it just isn't. That mag is being honest here and sometimes when things are cut in size due to editing concerns we often lose a little detail that only becomes important later on. Buy and enjoy-last time with Oblivion we got the best(but only by a tiny amount) version this time it's the other way round. Chill, it has noothing to do with which is the better console on this occasion-and seeing as all my 7 360's died I'm always more confident of playing something on PS3 in any case.

I don't know why this is the top story. This is so dumb. Different console games always look different no matter what system you play them on. They are two totally different systems after all. The PC version will always look the best, but you have to have a really high end computer to play it. If you have a mediocre computer like I do, forget about it. You're better off with the consoles. Now, with the 360 and PS3, it comes down to a couple different things. I'm getting mine on the PS3. My reasoning for this? I've been waiting for this game for over a year now. It's my most anticipated game of 2008. I have a 360 and a PS3, but I prefer PS3 to 360. The 360 (at least mine and many others) is the most unreliable piece of machinery I own. I just recently got Fable and the game constantly loses sound, isn't recognized by console, freezes, etc. I have never had this happen to me on the PS3. I also have a release 360 without an HDMI port, my PS3 does have one. The graphics look amazing on PS3 for games, and pretty good on 360. So, with all this considered, even after I read that some objects in the distance may not be as good on the PS3 as it would be on 360...count me in for PS3.

Oh, and no trophies? Good! Achievements/Trophies take away from games usually. They make you do the most random stuff to get an award that means nothing. I want to play my game, on my terms. I've already been addicted to achievements...it's not a path I want to take again.

This should go to highlight the fact that one should choose thier words carefully.

I think in the end they were dissapointed with the comparison between the PS3 sku and the rest and they said what they felt at the time. To me that is good reporting but this seems like someone was made to try and soften what they already said. In the end I'm sure the game will be fun on all platforms that it is on.

This over graphics... I pity all of those PS3-only fans, who are into more graphics equal more better logic. Also talking about 360-only fans. They don't. Even tho, I agree Uncharted is really beautiful but it has gameplay to match. Anyway back to the point. I question those who said they'd "buy it" then when it doesn't meet they're standard then they drop interest in the game. Is that all you people care about? Go watch a movie if you want that we have these systems to play games.

I'd like to add what t_tocs said. Not everyone has high-priced televisions. If you do notice something you'd have to be right up close to the thing. Some of these comments are pointless.

Cant blame folk getting pissed off ,if the graphics are worse than the Xbox 360 for what ever reason they should be, thats not just fanboys. I have PS3 & 360 plus a half decent PC, I exspect eye bleeding graphics this Gen from them both or I would have stuck with my Xbox,PS2,DC and GC. Don't get me wrong gameplay is more Important, but I want the Graphics to match. Can't expect folks to part with hard earned cash for poorer versions and not gripe or moan :)
