PlayStation Live from Paris Games Week 2017 | English

Playstation: We’ll kick off at 8am Pacific with updates and announcements before moving into the Media Showcase, where you’ll get a new look at some spectacular games coming to PS4 and PSVR.

Stream is expected to start at 8 am PDT/11 am EDT. Actual conference event will start at 9 am PDT/Noon EDT.

As much as l love sony l bet its a few homebrew indie studios with their vr game, maybe a good announcement like ff7r or bloodborne...then maybe remasters and ports for the rest. Not really feeling the hype here

Aren't they supposed to be announcing several games today? Granted the majority of them will probably be small or indie type titles, but that is still something to look forward to even if they are not AAA blockbusters.

I agree to a point. Hyping something up generally ends up with disappointment more often than not, but there are a lot of tidbits that could be interesting either way.

If it's nothing major it really won't matter. If it's all Indies, it really has no bearing on E3 and is just usual late year indie announcements.

I'd love to think it's going to be at least some release dates for announced titles and at least one real announcement of an unknown new title (sequel or new). But, honestly, I'm not going to hype myself up for disappointment. Same thing I do with E3. It makes what is shown more meaningful rather than a disappointment to what my imagination can come up with.

Spiderman looked great as did Last of Us 2. I also am curious about Ghost of Tsushima. I was DEEPLY disappointed by the audio from the child side kick character during combat in God of War 4. It was totally cringe worthy and feels totally out of place imo.

Decent conference I didn't get my self over hyped (though I was wishing for Bloodborne 2). But they announced some decent content. Ghost Of Tsumani looks interesting but I need to see some gameplay. Looks like they have also done a solid job with Shadow Of The Colossus as well. 2018 is going to be amazing for PS4 owners.

Im thinking psx is gonna be 20min game play playthroughs of tlou pt 2, gow showing off one of the boss fights, detroit with audience participation with the choices, days gone new section and red dead redemption. Conference ends with a new ip or bloodbourne 2

Erica also looked pretty interesting - I just finished Hidden Agenda, and the PlayLink thing was a neat take on things. I have played through HA a dozen times, and there's literally still scenes I have not encountered because of the choices I have/have not made (and only happened to have seen in a video or two online).

my only issue is that you are required to use a mobile device, and you can't use a regular controller at all. however, if you've ever played the jackbox games, they're all mobile device-controlled...

it does add a different gameplay element to the whole experience, though - there are aspects within Hidden Agenda that were fun.

So many new and potentially great games coming from indie, AAA and PSVR developers.

Hong Kong massacre, TLofU 2, Spiderman, GOW, Detroit, Ghost of Tsushima, SoftC, etc.

And I knew it. I knew it. London Studios pulling out one of their games with Blood and Truth. It's almost exactly the type of game I was imagining PSVR needed. With spy, action and stealth elements while interacting with the backgrounds.

I wonder what North west studios is making for PSVR?

Good shout forgot about RDR2. I agree with GOW gameplay might actually get a solid release date for it as well. TLOU2 I would love to see some more gameplay for it. As well as more of SOTC that looked really impressive. Maybe RE2 Remake will make an appearance?

I do hope we hear more from what ever the Sony Japan and From Software title is going to be.

So many great looking titles from Sony, much excite. And the best thing is most of them are loot box free single player experiences. Paris was a brilliant reposte to MS tbh. With all these great looking new games on the horizon who needs scorpio.
