Looked pretty gimmicky to me. Seems like one of those things you try out just to play around with VR for a bit. i couldn't see myself trying to play the whole game like that.
Looking forward to FFXV itself though.
Until devs figure out what to do with vr or really invest in it, expect a lot of these "vr experiences" that you'll try once and never touch again unless you're showing vr to someone. The rift and vive have a ton of them. I enjoy some of them for what they are, as long as they're free.
Kinda new it was going to be a tacked on extra. They will probably improve it some. I wouldn't have bought the game just for the VR experience anyway. Resident Evil is a game you buy PSVR for, that will be great.
