No reason to fret. TLOU is/was in a league all it's own. It was a dialogue driven masterpiece. GTAV is on another level, it looks like it might be an open world masterpiece. Too early for /all of us/ to tell which will be the greatest overall... yet.

Graphics are surprisingly good considering the hardware...
but I've noticed a lot of pop in and aliasing though.

Pop in is when objects in the game suddenly appear when they should already be there. I hate pop in so much it ruins the immersion. I wish they could increase the distance at which things render from the character so that no pop in can be seen at all and textures and geometry are preloaded in every direction. At 16:23 the fences on the left of the screen pop in badly.

Aliasing is not a big issue but its better to have high antialiasing than none because it smooths those edges up nicely.

I'm hoping for a more superior version on PC or PS4.

You can see the aliasing in that video? even in HD that is impossible.... you have to have direct fee or the game on your own tv because even in these HD videos the feed is blurry.....

Water looks stunning... I'm really surprised.

I can see aliasing actually on that video... its not hard to see if you know what to look for.

Wires, fences, leaves on the palm trees, telephone poles, walls.

Things that are further in the distance show more aliasing than things up close.

A small amount of FXAA would help and FXAA is not that taxing to frame rate compared to CSAA and MSAA.

Yeah the pop in is pretty terrible especially that railing when he was driving the quad bike at 14:45 mark but other than that it looks good.

Texture pop ins are ridiculous in this game...hopefully there's a day one patch or something..

I have an early RETAIL copy and boy is it bad....can't even drive without hitting something that didn't load up...and some cutscenes just look broken.

A day one patch on a game they've been working on for years? I doubt it.. what you seeing are the signs that clearly show how weak current systems are now. They have to make sacrifices to allow the game to run smoothly.

It looks very good , pop in is expected with the memory of ps3/360, so don't expect it to go away. If you complain with it looking this good then you have too high expectations.
