Rockstar: GTA IV multiplayer 360 and PS3

Where did you hear the PS3 has framerate issues?

Check GTA4.net for their playstation 3 preview of GTA4 where they say the game looks fantastic and the framerate is very smooth and didn't drop throughout the entire demo.

Also, FYI the PS3 version isn't a port off the 360 version. It was built from the ground up using the PS3 dev kit. There were separate teams developing for both consoles.

San Andreas actually had a multiplayer mission but the online aspect that gta4 is going to have will be awsome... if rockstar makes it fun. Can you imagine racing people online in gta4? Haha that would be cool especially if you can mod cars, you could create your car and race. Rockstar could even implement cops and robbers. Some players would be cops and they would try to apprehend the crooks, that would be sweat, they could do it similar to driver. You could even have rc races, 18 wheeler races & not to mention doing missions online. Man there could be a lot of stuff that gta4 could do online.

A source for that would be nice...when the delay occured, R* said it was stictly 'multiplatform development on a huge scale' that lead to the delay...commenting on the PS3's insane tech, an the 360's lack of HDD and DVD limits...quoting 'making GTAIV only run on 360's that DO have a HDD would make things a whole lot easier...but MS is not allowing that'...

there was one recent interview where the guy got railroaded into saying "the ps3 is behind in development"...and that Xbox source then clammored to the fact that the PS3 was part of the reason for delay...ignoring what was said last fall...

I can guarantee anyone, that had MS not plunked all that money for a day and date release with the PS3...PS3 owners would already be enjoying the game since last fall...it is 100% MS's fault that no one has the game yet...had it not been a multiplatform game, it would have already shipped...

The 360 costed 500 dollars to make when it came out while the ps3 costed like 700 dollars to make when it came out but was worth like 1000 dollars considering it had a blue ray player in it. Ps3 in every aspect is a a HUGER investment than 360 is and is well worth it. Its behind a solid company that has proved countless times to produce and dont have to worry about things like 3rod. Even if I dont play my ps3 all the time I dont have to wry about subscriptions dieing out on me or renewing to play when I got time to.

Anywayz back to artilce yea I knew from the start that was bs about ps3 not having online. Microsoft jeopardized Rockstar's number 1 game, just to seem to have an equal hold on the market like Sony in 08'. Microsoft's aggressive marketing strategy, almost brought Rockstar some bad views.

It's getting close to little before it can be confidently said that GTA V will comeback to the Ps3 side, as it's already outselling the other console. Plus the high capacity of Blu-ray discs.

Rockstar's GTA is a game that survives on the size of the Discs. With Rockstar using a little more each and every game. They don't want to get limited by size, and so in time definitely GTA series will be Ps3 exclusive again.

Sadly the 360 version will be slightly better because Xbox Live has a better method of connecting you to your friends. Hopefully Sony will get their sh!t together by the time this & MGS4 with MGO2 is releaSed.

Even still, if DLC is exclusive, does that mean its worth buying a system with such a high failure rate? What is the point of having extra missions if your system is broke down? I came from owning 3 xbox 360's and I am skeptical about buying the system again. I do believe it is the superior system at this time from game library and online but again, if your system is broke you cant enjoy either. Besides, after owning one for two years, I didnt see much on live as far as DLC that I just had to have other than what came out for Oblivion, but most of that was on the ps3 version too minus some retarded horse armor.
