But they seem to lost the touch to me live was better this year. I always tought 2k was good until this year, seems to me they have to take to next level for next gen consoles to make a comeback. Now I guess it will be nba 2k next since 2k8 football was a complete laugh and slap in the face.

Once again, the EA business model: Just buy the exclusive license(s), and then set the "mediocre crap" machine to full speed. Lovely, just frigging lovely. If there was ever a need for a revolution, it's now. We should boycott EA. Honestly. Oh please, not NBA, too! I refuse to buy Live. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! !!!!!!!!!

Most of the problems that a lot of people had were fixed with the patch, same goes for College hoops 2k9. But when I read that college hoops 2k9 was canceled, it felt like a friend died, I love that game so much and I make it a point to get it every year, same with ncaa football. I like the college games a bit more because it's never the same teams that end up in the top every year and there's always that random team from one of the smaller divisions making there way to a bowl game or to the ncaa tourney, that level of variety is the reason why I like them over the professional ones. I don't even play madden anymore, but I do play nba 2k and like to transport my graduated players.

I will not buy ea basketball anymore, nor will I buy Sony's terrible take on basketball(unless it somehow makes a super sweet game).
I just wish that there was a way that would keep companies from buying licenses for sports, its really unfair and greedy on the NFL and MLB's part. They are already the top sports in america. And for NCAA to let EA buy its football team license sucks worse...IT'S COLLEGE, you can't even name them but you can sell them to a single company to do what they please. They don't even care about the gaming side of it, they just want the money.

I wonder who's idea it was to make sports licensing legal anyway, and who started it? Just giving EA more reason to make crappier games, because they know everyone is going to buy madden, and now their NCAA football series is starting to go down.

...i will say this though, if they bring back the backboard breaking in march madness, I might buy it...used
