This accounts for the entire year of 2007, so Gears of War was a full year on the market, compared to 3 months for Halo 3 and 2 months for Call of Duty 4. So really, Halo 3 and COD4 did amazing, compared to all the other games.

he has got to kinding. The rumor for Ikaruga is sometime this month, but no release date is out yet.

Gears won Game of the Year after Game of the Year award in its release.

Gears of War has a Metacritic score of 94 / 100 -- better than *ANY* exclusive PS3 game *EVER RELEASED* (and, only matched by the 9.4 by CoD4; which btw is at #5 of overall Xbox 360 titles, exceeded by exclusive BioShock (96/100))

AND, it has serious replay ability with Online CoOp and PvP online multiplayer variations -- which, is proved by its popularity in this 2007 LIVE data.

Gears of War is better, has more value, more fans and greater replay ability than any PS3 in existence. It is evidenced by the metrics I provide above.
