The PS3 version don't have mods, it has Epic cooked/created mods, otherwise known as "downloadable content". Damn shrimpboat pull the Sony goggles off and you will know what everone knows UT3 is incomplete on the PS3.

Now Uncharted, heavely advertised isn't selling well. As is UT3 on the PS3 ain't selling, as is Ratchet&Clank same damn fait of those BluRay movie buying PS3 owners. They buy no games.

Last time Epic made a game for the 360, it sold over 5 million copies. It's name? Gears of War in December 2006.

They'll get the mods & maps on the 360 right in close coöperation with Microsoft, not the stupid PS3 one map a time copy on the USB stick.

Plus, 360's have an average attach rate of 6.6 games sold per unit. The PS3 is on 3.6 per unit, about the same as the... sh!t for you: Wii (and if you like, like the last gen Gamecube).

We can say with ease UT3 on the 360 will sell a lot, like a lot better then on the PS3. PS3 users like to buy BluRay movies, no games. Proven by UT3, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank you name them.

The fact that UT3 aint out in Europe might have something to do with it. Oh and proof that UC isn't selling well is needed for your arguement.

That funny. I though M$ and Epic had a big row over charging for maps etc on live. Plus you can download mods on the PS3 browser. Tool.

@The Marty, and especially for you, because you have Europe set in your location, and yet jerk off on each US sales report:

3 top selling PS3 titles week 'till 22.12. in Europe:

1: AC: 163K (BTW: outsold the 360 with 129k)
2: CoD4: 125K (360 sold 138k, to mention in all fairness)
3: UC: 107K - aha! Guess it made it into the top 3(again).

BTW: And for the ones here not able to read german: Look what they say (bottom right corner).

2 problems. One, they are probably saying sold to retailers considering that they really don't care after it's sold to them, and two, that this is the VP of Global Marketing. What do you expect him to say, our game sold like crap?

Well now it depends on what you like. CoD4 is great fun and has given me hours of enjoyment, but so has Halo 3. Just depends if I'm in the mood for running around jumping 10 feet into the air or crusin on a mongoose or if I want to be a little more patient and tactical(if you can call CoD4 that) I'll play CoD4. Two different games.

You guys should stop running after a myth. In the US, the 360 version is the clear favorite. No doubt about that. It might even be on a global level (or say, US&EU), because of the shooter genre still selling better on the 360 (IMO). But please, respect different markets. Just as an example: AC sold more units on the PS3 in Europe last week, then it did sell on the 360 in the US (163K vs. 125k).

The European market is growing, it seems, and the numbers are pointing towards the PS3 in that territory. Even CoD4 is a head to head race.

Saying, UT3 didn't sell in the US, well, yes, maybe. But it is comparable to AC (44k) and close enough to CoD4 (58K) with its 41K (right behind). These numbers are roughly tripled in Europe, BTW (which is strange, because the total install base is about the same). And maybe it is save to assume, these might hold true for UT3.

I would be very surprised, if UT3 would sell like Halo3 or even CoD4 (or AC) on launch day - on the 360. Certainly not like H3 (what was that ? 1 or 2 M incl. preorders ?). It might sell more on launch on the 360, but I predict it will sell head to head with the PS3 version afterwards. And then, they have to clear the "mod-question" on the 360, first (and clearly communicate that before launch).

That is why Keyboard & mouse are supported on the PS3 for this game. Besides that PS3 controller vs. X360 controller is about the same. They both have EXACT same number of buttons, both fit well in hand as well. I have played with both controllers and there is nothing on either controller that really hinders anything. Buttons are almost in exact same areas. Only real difference is D-pad and Left Stick/L3 are swapped.
