Even though Bethesda did say that 360 is the lead platform for Fallout 3, I still think F3 should have been in PC's top 10 and another game like Prototype should have made it here.

Good one. I saw one ad from it in GameIndustry.biz and agreed that Crackdown was an awesome game.
Sadly it was underrated and overlooked and the same seems to be happening to APB.

who's seen the Battle Field Bad Company video on XBL(or PSN?) this game will blow COD4 out of the water. In the video I couldn't tell what was real or game at times when the dude wasn't in front of the screen.

People have to be out of their minds when they say 360 and or PS3 are at the end of their graphical ropes(devs havn't learned either of the hardware in these consoles just wait untill hyper threading or multi threading development takes off, I love how MSFT hired an Multi threading master to help devs harnest the 360's capabilities).

Also Project Offset is going to be a Moster and so is Alan Wake, Elveon and Warhound could also suprize us.

while i kinda hope your right, CoD4's crowning glory is that it runs at a very stable frame rate, Battlefield is seriously lacking in that department as of now.

You mentioned some pretty great games indeed. Project Offset, Alan Wake, Elveon and Warhound.

As for BF:BC, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be awesome but COD4 awesome? COD4 won a lot of awards at E3 and every site and critic praised it. BF:BC in the other hand didn't win any awards. Though to be fair, it was in a really early developement stage.
The recent gameplay footage of BF was indeed awesome but I still don't think it will be a match for COD4.

Alan Wake and Project Offset could be real killers though.

I don't mean to me prude but I highly think that Battlefield MC will have some hitch and like MK said it will have a rough frame rates. Battlefields were made for the PC's and I hope they don't dumb it down too much for the consoles to run at a smooth framerate.

As more and more comes out about Too Human the more excited I get about it.

The last trailer that I saw, the graphics appeared just below that of Assassin's Creed. Everything looked a bit off, just not tight. However, it does look promising!

4 - The games on the list definately

look really good. Especially Fable 2, Halo Wars, Fallout 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Too Human.

I know that Microsoft has a lot more up their sleeve though that they have not released yet for 2008. I would expect some info on Gears of War 2, Banjo 3, Perfect Dark 2, and possibly even Killer Instinct 3 next year. Rare has to be up to something after all. I have to doubt that they are only working on Banjo 3.

There are also a lot of other heavy hitters that are coming from 3rd parties in 08. Alan Wake, Project Offset and Street Fighter 4 just to name a few.

And for people wondering how Too Human is shaping up these two videos are pretty cool. I posted them before but for those that are interested.

Project Offset could end up biggest surprise of 2008 and a true sleeper hit.

I just hope Fallout 3 lives up to it's legacy and potential and becomes best game of all time. (Yeah, I'm a Fallout fanboy, screw every other game and console, Fallout FTW!)

Fallout 3 is gonna slaughter the competition on all platforms. In 2008, War NEVER Changes.
Sorry about the short rant. GI finally put Fallout 3 in their top 10s and I had to say that. Fallout RULES.

My top 5 most anticipated 360 games for 2008:
1.Fallout 3 (Duh) (Also my overall most wanted game across all platforms)
2.Ninja Gaiden 2 (My 3rd overall)
3.Prototype (Overall 4th)

No, it has 3rd person view plus the camera could go even much farther to the point of near isometric.
You have BioShock's Big Daddy in your avy. Fallout is one of the main inspirations behind BioShock and devs have paid homage to Fallout in BioShock in many ways.

Trust me my friend, Fallout 3 will be worth it. Original Fallout has made it to best games-of-all-time-hall of fame of sites like IGN, GameSpot and CVG. You can check them.

WOOOOOW. You really have no clue at all.
Fallout 3 is a classic RPG in vein of and like Oblivion and Morrowind, it just uses first person view for it's view point and it's not even remotly a military shooter. Actually in Fallout there is no military, team mate and such. It's post apocalyptic world with only hostile creatures. If anything, Fallout 3 is like Mass Effect and Oblivion.

Now what's next? Gran Turismo 5 is a generic RTS? Alan Wake is bad sports game? ;)

Lack of hype has been sadly always a problem for Fallout games but both Fallout 1 and 2 are considered to be among the best RPGs of all time.

As for hype and quality, it's a game developed by Bethesda (Oblivion, Morrowind) so it hopefully it gets the hype it needs and ends up worthy of the wait and hype and becomes an all time classic like BioShock.

+++++ Actually, many parts of BioShock were inspired by Fallout and devs of BioShock did pay homage to Fallout by using game's iconic Vault Boy is symbol of men's rest room along with using Fallout 2's loading screen on some of TVs plus lots of familiar music tracks from Fallout games are played in the background of Rapture.

Seeing that you have BioShock's Big Daddy in your avy, I though you'd be more familair with Fallout, the game that inspired many aspects of BioShock.

I don't know you sound very fake, first you bad mouth Fallout 3 yet its obvious you don't even know what kind of game it is. Second everyone has an opinion but why do you keep saying ps3 has a better 2008?= according to who? a ps3 fanboy in disguise? because from my point of view I prefer 360's lineup, NG2, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Fable2, Too Human and hopefully Gears2, I personally dont like jrpg's, well I won't say don't like them but they are my LEAST favorite genre and if you look at micro's exclusives in 2007 compared to ps3 exclusives they have alot more depth/variety of gameplay aspects in their exclusive games and also they usually have an online experience that didn't just feel tacked on. I think only Bioshock was the big exclusive that lacked a online but it was hands down imo the best singleplayer experience in 2007. When I look at the games for 2007, and admittedly we don't know alot about them except for ones like Too Human which have been shown a discussed alot but for me the trend of 360 exclusives being better and more in depth will continue, so far only MGS4 for ps3 stands out to me as a game that has that "total package" feel, I also think God of War 3 will be one helluva game whenever it comes, still NG2 is more to my liking.= Everything I just said is MY PREFERENCE, which is why I own a 360 instead of a ps3.

It's Sony second year, It will be better because most games got delayed in the first year and got pushed to the 2nd year.

I.E. MGS4, Socom, Wipeout.

But the Sony has abit of a problem that microsoft doesn't.

Microsoft only has 1 gaming platform to focus on where Sony has 3:
Ps2 , PSP , and PS3. Im personal Opinion if there wasn't the Wii, there would be the PS3 and PSP. Sony should kill the PS2 and move all developers to the PS3. I still can't believe they developed a twisted metal sequel for the PS2 instead of the PS3....

15 - 360 has a few good games for 2008

But it's still hard to judge considering Sony has only hinted at their lineup (save for 5 or 6 titles) and Microsoft hasn't said squat. Everything points to Sony dominating '08 though.

Oh come on, KI3 and Banjo 3. I reckon alot of Nintendo fans may be tempted to buy a 360 for these two games and anything Halo will sell crazy. Hell I can't wait until 2008, Killzone 2, LBP, MGS4, Halo Wars, UT3 (UK), Fable 2, BK3, GTA IV. Man I'm gonna be skint.

2008 will be a far better gaming year then 2007 was. sure we had Mass effect, Bioshock, assassin's creed, and yes Halo 3. But i could not be more hyped for Fallout3, Ninja gaiden2, and Too Human. those 3 games alone get me all giddy inside.
