Paradise City Is Larger Than Expected
15
Kotaku reports:
"Here's a map of Paradise City for the upcoming Burnout Paradise. If you've played the demo, you'll recognize that tiny portion near the beach. It's the demo area. You'll also now realize that the final map is enormous. If you haven't played the demo, the same basic point applies: this map is freakin' huge.

The map of TDU is really huge like you wouldn't want to go anywhere by your own driving.
But so many empty spaces are there. So I don't think huge map like TDU matches with Burnout.
If the paradise city is as big as TDU. Gameplay of Burnout is retarded, I think.

I don't think it matters how big it is as long as it has cool locations. I never played test drive but i assume those enviroments are bland compared to the burnout paradise locations.

Test Drive is indeed massive. took me a hour to go round the whole island without crashing.
Even though Burnout seems smaller, it will be a great game to play.

8 - Actually, it`s exactly the size I expected
I downloaded the demo, and let me just say, that even being just a demo, I just cant get enough of it. Anyway, while pausing, I checked the map, zoomed out, and saw the whole map. So I knew the size of the map already.
It really is quite big though..

10 - extra downloadable maps
Here's a link that shows what will probably be downloadable content...extra maps. This is a map showing a good sized island with an airport, hope it will be free/cheap.

What are you thanking blu-ray for? This is being released on 360 too, which means it can fit on a dvd9.
